havent drove the car since fitting the standard actuator back. With the hks actuator, the spring is alot stiffer! but in my opinion, i carnt control the boost enough so hense going back to standard until i can get myself a boost controller which will help me set it up correctly without overboosting too much lol The car interior is all back together now, speedo cable back in(hopefully be fine) dash back together. give the car a clean tomorrow touchwood if weather stays good! -

ive decided to run the standard actuator so will be standard boost till i can afford a boost controller. After all i do want a reliable car! Had a very expensive month! -
Ok will have a search for a ebc! regarding the actuator what sort of boost should i be looking at in first gear? its hooked up correctly with vac hose from turbo to actuator! where the actuator hole is and it goes onto the wastegate connector, i had to use a bolt and 2 nuts to fix it. should be ok though! i had to pull out the actuator slighly to get it to mount onto the wastegate bolt though?

i might buy a HDI or a GIZZMO? should i set my actuator lower then set my boost controller higher? or vice versa? or will a MBC be ok?

im at 1.1 bar now in first gear, will it be the same throughout the gears Will this be ok for my ct9? More worried about my engine, rather than the turbo lol

hello ive been having problems with my boost pipes popping off. I used the tercel hks actuator guide. 121mm for 1 bar. which turned out to be 120mm at 1.5 bar lol opps. (first gear) i didnt port my second turbo as i was in a hurry and didnt know what condition it was in! The turbo had 2mm play! Mods Jam ecu FMIC ported manifold blitz decat front mounted air filter Uprated leads hks actuator so i reset the hks actuator 3mm more at 124mm it now boosts at 1.1 bar(1.0 Bar ish) could the actuator be fucked? or the turbo overboosting? This is all in first gear. will it be ok? cheers a

its on a bend but its straight then a little rolled bit then back to straight at the end. just seen that the mikalor doesnt tighten up and bends like a oval going to get a couple new ones and try that! might just put a bit of resin round the outer lips too! thanks lads

on my fmic japspeed goes over the manifold. the hot pipe that goes over manifold and down, keeps popping off as soon as i hit 1 bar ive got 2 mikalors on it and still does it. ive tightened it up to the max and still pops off. my mikalors are 225 inch width 57-67 size what size should it be? or anything else i could use?

new collars and c spanners Now on car and lowered just over arches but not even for scrapping! I reset my actuator as it was boosting at 0.8 bar i set it at 1 bar this time 121mm and its boost passed that (or on it) and popping a fmic pipe off. the one underneath (hot pipe) at first it popped one side off(had a massive mikolar(changed with it) then it popped off the back one)still a smaller mikolar It boosts quick up to 1 bar and seems to pop it off and then rises up the boost to like 1.3 bar is this because its overboosting? or the actuator is set to high? cheers lads -

Yea it's pretty cool It's on now. Tryed pulling the car with it. All good. The coilovers are pissing me off Currently having a T break hoping the coilovers will adjust after lol -

Pmd you Liam Update fitted the coilovers Rears fine Fronts seized So tried duck oil, pb blaster,plus gas & censol Still fucking solid By the looks of it going to need to grind of the collars and hope the threads underneath aren't fucked And stick new collars on. Height of the car As you can see. Front doesn't match back I know there's a m Nut missing from earth lol -

it only backs off slightly at higher revs.(not at 3.5K) theres no leaks as i carnt feel anything(hipefully) would it be a good idea to me to get a MBC or EBC and up the boost from that? or adjust actautor at 1 bar?

all supporting mods, fmic blitz decat & exhaust hks actuator ported manifold and turbo relocated filter JAM ecu What is standard boost in bar? do the ct9s seem to back off at the top end of revs?

hello right i set my actuator at 1 bar but i only seem to be getting 0.8/0.75 bar on my gauge. The car feels quick but seems to be a good kick of boost then backs off Could this be my turbo? or a leak? or my actuator(hks)? when fitting the HKS it felt tight and not loose? any ideas? CT9 turbo

Trd knob Bc coilovers literally got the rears fitted as soon as i got back not sure if its low enough on the rear, how low do the bcs go? also how what camber should i run for a road setup? i dont want to rip through tryes. would it best me running a normal no camber? On the list is 4 wheel allignment after, not sure if theres many places in leicester -

i have a HKS actuator set at 0.9 bar now but someone said get a boost controller as it would be better also. If i was to get a boost controller should i lower the actuator and just adjust from boost controller cheers

With the AVCRS do you need to run the map sensor in the box or not? cheers

hello i know what they both do. But which is better? Im looking for EBC for my 1 bar setup Im running all supporting mods with a JAM ecu Few questions Which one would you recommend? Easy to wire? easy to use? Im wanting to run 1 bar of boost max! happy to at 1 bar. So do i set my actuator lower (0.9 bar) and then raise my boost controller up to 1 bar? or put the actuator lower and raise the boost with the EBC? or vice versa? if so what boost should i set my actuator at? Comments welcomed cheers

Some sort of hybrid CT9 took my speedo back to toyota, had a few issuses with the people that work there, had to buy another and they sent mine off for there technican to say it broke, and for them to claim the money back and give it to me, seems a faf! but had a phone call today, saying i will be recieving my money next week Happy. The car will be put on the road, insured, taxed on my arrival back into the country. Just hope i have no big problems when it gets put on the road. -
