didnt really no the difference between external and intenal wastegates until tonight when i done some reading. still needing a bit of help on a few things that i cant really find on google. 1) i know that you get different sizes of external wastegates. how do you determain what size you go for? 2) im unsure about the exhaust piping for the external wastgate, ive seen the manifold which vents a pipe into the atmosphere is this basically just like a screamer pipe but actached to the manifold? 3) where abouts do you put the external wastegate? this is proberly a silly question but its my fi

i see i didnt realise the dastek was a piggyback thought it was a chip placed in the standard ecu. dont really like the sound of the pre mapped ecu's like jam and blitz. everycar is different and to get the best out of it you need your own map. youll always make more power, better power curve and more torque with your own map so thats the way i will be going.

ok cheers man i understand what you mean but im a little confused about all the external and internal wastegates, ive only just come over to the glanza scene and was all about n/a before some i dont have an expierence. whats the difference between the two and how do the work? cheers aidan

no i will use a sps manifold and decat , rrfpr and a hks actuator. so i dont need to be forged .

i would just be running it on low boost till i could get it mapped would be anylonger than a month. your engine is stock isnt it mate? or do you mean its ok to run on a stock engine as long as its tuned? cheers agian aidan

yeh i was looking at manifolds and decats will i just buy a manifold to fit a ct9? fmic is on its way. ok cheers for you help mate any more would be appricated

is it possible to run a hybrid ct9 on a standard ecu? if so how long should it be ok before i get it mapped. what exhuast and manifold should i use? will the oil lines be ok? anything else i would need to change ? thanks

i just didnt really no what you all ment when you said hybrid. how much difference is there to a stock ct9 turbo and a hybrid ct9? what sort of power can be achieved with them?

cheers guys. emm the plans are just to get the body work looking good and get a good set of coilovers set up for the track/road. in the summer time i think il concentrate on the engine, fully forged with a td04/05 just see what happens. will post some pics up later. just now its got alot of starlet bits on it but i have the origanal glanza bits to go back on. aidan

hi people. new to the starlet/glanza scene. not to jap scene though . i currently own a honda civic ek4 vti with a 1.8 dohc vtec in it running 180bhp and 130 ft/lb. this is off the road now and i have bought myself a ep91 glanza v. b19 yul owned it before, needs a bit of work but i like a challenge . might need some help as i have no clue about glanzas . cheers aidan
