  1. man ive just been to newquay :/ if this went up earlier i would have picked it up for you iddy
  2. beat me to it lmao. on an adult note though, id go 82 just because they are cheaper, if i could afford it, id get a glanza though
  3. wont have done any damage i dont imagine mate. you can flush the engine out with water too. leave the rad hoses on the engine, and point the bottom hose at the floor without kinking it, then put the hose in the top rad pipe ad let it flush through for a while until your satisfied obvioulsy it will eventually re-develop as thats what happens when water and metal are in contact for long periods of time. just change it once a year and flush the engine and rad each time and all should be fine
  4. didnt think they had a cps but that was the only on it may have been if they did lol
  5. the problem is they are 4efte leads, and the dizzy cap is smaller than the 4efe so you need to stretch these ones, thats why they keep popping out james at cj performance does slightly longer ones for the 4efe i believe you'll have to double check with him that they are slightly longer, but he should be able to sort you out and they come in red
  6. needs to go lower looks sweet though
  7. lmfao sneaking his post count up while no ones looking haha
  8. have you reconnected the earth cable onto the front gearbox mount? check you havent knocked any of the leads. also check the timing, because if you have wiggled the engine using the distributor to hold onto you may have moved it im sure the crank position sensor is on the front of the engine, its the little grey plug at the front of the engine next to the gearbox make sure its plugged in tidy. also just check the plugs and see if the leads and airflow sensors are all plugged in could be time to change the leads and plugs if they havent been done before
  9. kerbed the wheel today well pissed! lol. they need re-doing and it was just a rush job so im not toooo bothered but its anoying all the same lol did a 364 mile round trip today, and the only problems to report were fuel and shit weather so i couldnt put the roof down
  10. get those brackets painted in the bay too! lets it down alot lol parts and progress is looking top mate this be ready for the next show?
  11. i know of a lower milage one and in the rarer color its the lilac/blue color, and has 14k on it, and full service history 1 owner from the display room she came in for a headlight at a friends halfords
  12. channelles old car?? good to see you back matey
  13. LOOL i thought grandza was a play on the japanese accent... welcome to the club dude
  14. think starbo moorley is looking to get rid of his bud
  15. damage looks a bit shite :/ repairs are looking good though dude seeign as it was no ones fault im guessing you were 'testing one anothers rides' but then who am i to judge haha
  16. id definitely recommend saving for some meister coilovers then bud, along with front and rear struts to get it to go well on the cheap id go for a glanza inlet and TB, a corolla 4 branch cast mani with a full exhaust system to start with then dude then id go onto a lightened flywheel with better clutch
  17. <--- <--- <--- self explanitory really Edit: jsut realised how old this thread is haha
  18. yeah but it wouldnt have been much more because i only had a standard ecu :/ i think i coulda made 120+ with an aftermarket ecu and map lol
  19. no, never got the head upgrade running right as the valve stem seals werent seated properly. japfest 2 was the best it ever drove, and the head was done after that. then we put the old head back on and that went too lol. and then the oil rings :/ so i put a new engine in it, and stripped it about a month or so later lol
  20. its very unlikely to make 100bhp on the standard ecu as it just doesnt cater to fuel above 90 very well at all. i would of loved to have mine dyno'd once it was running right, but it was overfuelling like crazy the day i got it dyno'd and it kind of drowned out the power, by the time we had sorted the fuelling issue it was too late to put it back on it wont be cheap to get it too 100bhp though fella. it would probably be more cost effective to just put the 4efte in i spent thousands on mine heres the spec list i was aiming at and the rough prices 4efte ported head £300+ 4efte uprated vlal
  21. yeah with the hose pipe like mentioned above fella. then just do the same with the rad, leave the pipes off, pop the hose in the top and let it flush out.
  22. flushing the system wont sort it fella, the only way you can really do it, is to not spill the coolant/water mixture on the rad when you top it up lol. or clean it up before it has a chance to boil on the rad it wont cause you any issues though bud so i wouldnt worry
  23. if you get the engine hot, and the rad hot, and put a tiny bit of coolant and water on the metal of the rad, leave it for a few minutes, then come back and check it, and it will most likely have gone like that creamy crusty crap after a while
  24. i had this problem with the civic rad too, its were the water has boiled against the metal when you filled it up and leaves that crusty creamy crap id flush it out dude, take the two hoses off the top and bottom of the rad, point the bottom one towards the floor and pop a hose in the top one and pump water through to try clean out the shite. it doesnt look too milky so i wouldnt worry about that dude. are you losing oil and water?
  25. pahaha reply of the thread
