this doesnt need moderated...we need to collectively e-slap markoos for organising such a gay party! i mean, where are the bowls of m&ms? where are the bottles of fanta? where are the lines of crack on the toilet seat lid and the slightly aged and depressed lookin hookers! f**kin washout this jazz! Markoos, u gimp! Phil.

never heard of a braking improvement from struts before, but then i dont profess to be all knowing with this technical lark lol. yeah i spotted that one for sale. of the car isnt too low, and if there arent many nasty speed bumps in your area, and if u enjoy cornering hard, then yeah, they're a good choice man. Joz runs lower braces too. Phil.

if the eye bolt is threaded in all the way into the stock hole yeah it should be. its the idea of looping the actual harness material itself around the bars that im saying wouldnt be too safe as the bars aren't mounted THAT strongly to the car. yes, rally guys sometimes loop them around the roll cage but thats different, chances are thats welded in or bolted in with big f**k off bolts, not wee piddly 14mm girl pants things. also - i am by no means an authority on this stuff folks, i could be off on a point or two, but i think the logic stands. Phil.

^^^^RW Developments will be doing them at some point i believe, so no permission will be granted to a group buy that would detract from the products of our traders, sorry dude. the reason i wouldnt fix my harnesses to a strut is the same reason i wouldnt fix them to the c-pillar bar - in an accident, you're putting all your eggs into those 3 or 4 or 5 threads of the nuts/bolts holding the brace in position, or for the c-pillar bar, the threads between the ball joints and the horizontal bar itself. front end smash...all your weight on maybe 6 threads in the c-pillar joints, no thanks. much sa

i did say that, because i do lol. braking?????????????????????????????????????????????????? have u been drinking? strut brace...braking...i dont follow mate! lol. handling - yes. i felt that it improved upon having just the upper strut on its own (well, i have fender bars too but the point stands). it improved the turn in response a TOUCH, nothing massive. i would say that at first i felt it lent itself towards some oversteer, but i think this is a response to the tighter turn in, once u've run it a day or two u naturally compensate your driving behaviour for it. i wouldnt rush out and plum

the voice of the UKSC admin. you make something public u can expect to get other people chimming in. no sense complaining about other people bouncing in. u want it private, u take it to PMs. therefore, thread stays open. well said Stevie baby! Phil.

lol i think there has been some misunderstanding. i said we did some aesthetic experimentation. i never said i bought them! simply trying to help Jay sell them!!! altho i think i know who's gonna race down and get them given the almost irate text messages i got last nite!!!! let me be clear again, we were bored and just dicking about. i did NOT buy them! also....the 13" OEM Y-fronts dont clear late spec calipers, so will have to be returned to the Costa in exchange for some 14" steelies for snow tires. brake clearance fail. Phil.

Update gave her the first wash she's had in a looooooooong time today...to find that drivers front CV grease was all over my wheel...again. twice in a yr and a half. Mark managed to get me new boot kit from fyffes real quick, and then it was off to the Costa del Vogie for an impromptu visit to Mission Control. As always, Jay has dug me out of a massive hole as she was facing being off the road again with no CV grease lol!!!! whilst there we did a little aesthetic experimentation...i will let Jay further this point later! i also purchased two OEM 13" 3 spoke wheels from Jay whilst i was ther
