ok....first of all....i think my explanation of how they are wired in was inaccurate, when i said side lights i meant that when the side lights come on the gauges do too along with all the dash lights, so i suspect that thats where they are wired in, there are defo no wires in the engine bay, they're all under the dash.....oh joy. second! U GUYS ROCK! i had a feeling it was somethin like this which is a bit of a pain as i am in no way good with electrics but i DO understand wot u have said, a single faulty line in the middle of the wires that has gradually got worse over time would explain w

yes i can.... GET ON AND DO THEM ALL DAMMIT SAM! get the general tidy up bits sorted first, cleaning the egg off etc etc, get some of the interior and engine detailing sorted while u await a suitable time to start the major jobs like dents and matt paint! GET ON WITH IT YOUNG MAN! Phil.

OK, im hopin someone can have a read of the following and perhaps come up with an explanation and possibe solution! Here's the scenario: I currently have an Auto Gauge Tacho on my dash and in an A-Pillar pod i have an Auto Gauge Oil Pressure gauge and an Auto Gauge Volts gauge. They are all wired into the sidelights so as soon as the sidelights are turned on they should light up. Now, around 2years ago the light in the Tacho went gay, it wouldnt always come on when u switched on the sidelights - sometimes it did, other times it didnt - but the two pod gauges DID still light up, and after aro
