OK, im hopin someone can have a read of the following and perhaps come up with an explanation and possibe solution! Here's the scenario: I currently have an Auto Gauge Tacho on my dash and in an A-Pillar pod i have an Auto Gauge Oil Pressure gauge and an Auto Gauge Volts gauge. They are all wired into the sidelights so as soon as the sidelights are turned on they should light up. Now, around 2years ago the light in the Tacho went gay, it wouldnt always come on when u switched on the sidelights - sometimes it did, other times it didnt - but the two pod gauges DID still light up, and after around 15/20mins of driving THEN the tacho light would decide to function. But once it came on it STAYED on, it never flickered out again, it just took its sweet time to light up. Then around 4 or 5 months ago the light in the oil pressure gauge died aswell. However, as it stayed off permanently i thought this was simply a case of the bulb dying. HOWEVER, last nite on my way home from work, all of a sudden both the tacho and the oil pressure gauges lit up at the exact same instant! now, for the tacho this is nothing new, but the oil pressure light hasnt worked for MONTHS as explained above. all the while the volt gauge has functioned perfectly! so obviously its not the bulbs as it would seem that they can function just fine, so can anyone please explain what the hell is wrong with my gauges or the wiring to the gauges before i scream! my only thought is that perhaps the live feed wire(ss) are faulty and are not carrying a feed to them properly...unless u have been driving for 20mins in the case of the tacho light!!!! help me please UKSC wiring type peoples! Phil.

on OLD skool member from UKSC called Baz has his own coach works and he used to tell me all sorts of cool things like that that he did on his EPs, defo worth considering i think if added sparkle is wot the lady wants! Phil.
-
nice plans there tucka man! would look smart as fook! @Laura, i agree, the colour is lush, but if your after some added sparkle have u guys discussed, instead of changing the colour, just having the car sprayed in laquer with some metal flake mixed into it?? u can mix all sorts of coloured flake and size of flake into it, that would give u the red u like already plus some added sparkle! just a thought. Phil.

yes mate. the set consists of two 4-spoke wheels for the front (4 spoke rather than 5 to reduce the weight to be turned, if u believe Rays lol) and two 5-spoke wheels for the rear (5 spokes rather than 4 for added stability), which is why the set is called Volks 5/4s. they originally came with Volks 5/4s decals in red on them but i havnt replaced them after the refurb as I dont think the wheels need any decals on them, they look spot on as they are. Phil.
