Alright guys and gals, I've already taken some steps into makin this happen. My idea is based on an idea some1 had shortly after JAE 06, where they suggested we have a banner made up and it gets posted to whoever is goin to a show. Well im startin to look into havin one made that i can take to shows, cruises and wot not over here so that i can get us some added publicity where ever i may be I saw a number of these at the JAG autofest in Ballymena in august and I've emailed a chap i know who has one for his site (Bangorcruise.com) to enquire as to who and where makes them and how much it'll skin me, im not really bothered about the price as id be puttin somethin back into the club so im happy. As yet havnt heard back tho ;) BUT theres more than one way to skin a cat. ANYWAY, the point of this topic is to see wot u lot think would be a good banner for us. Me and Geo have disscussed a couple of options, but he pretty much said as im doin it myself i can do wotever the hell i want ;) I've also spoken to Rich about usin one of his forum banner ideas, and we may use one with Prangers's ride in it, that also has the text UK Starlet Club on it, plus the starlet star. I just want to gather other members ideas/views/suggestion/artwork before commitin to a particular design (i dont even know if its possible to have a pic of a car in it yet ). SO, if u have any suggestions or designs u'd like to post up please feel free and i'll have a gander at them and run them past Geo before takin any decisive steps towards production. Cheers. Phil.

PASSED MOT!!!!!!!!! WOOPWOOP!!!!! ;) Only thing they said was to tighten passenger rear wheel bearing, thats all, so chuffed!!!! Got the 5th speedline wrapped in black round thing today to chucked the last steely in the skip!! damn the speedline takes up ALOT more room in the boot ;) However, I've driven 89miles after fillin the tank, and the needle HASNT budged, thought we had it fixed, apparently not, it MUST have somethin to do with the position of the solenoid but for the life of me and my bro and even the sparky we cant figure out wot! Just have to keep tryin. Im not sure wots next other than waitin on splitter and mani. Decisions decisions. Driving life is MUCH easier with 15s. Might have the windows etc etc done. Phil.

the sparky looked at that mate but no apparently not, for several resons. First, when the brake light come on in the cluster they're pretty feckin bright, so would drown out the fog light. He also looked at usin one the reversin light spaces but again no use, firstly it would involve paintin a bulb that would dim it down, and also the reverse lights in the carat lights are not straight on, i.e. they're curved rouond towards the rear wing, and apparently a really dirty MOT person could fail it for this as the fog light wouldnt be straight on with the perrson behind if u follow me. It sucks but hopefully rich is sortin me out. Phil.

;) Yeah mate, the fog is needed so cant really be helped but i guss it could look worse lol, esp if it wasnt centred. Well chuffed with the yaris arm! As for De-MOT'in her, well, MOT is tomorrow at 11.05, BUT i cant change the number plates or pedals back yet U see, im in the middle of doin my advanced licence, and for the test the car has to be MOT road worthy so if i showed up for the test with a car that wouldnt pass MOT he could well say..uh...how about no boy!!! So i will just have to be patient for a few weeks until i get the test over with, then the plates and pedals can go back on! Which is even more poo as Japheaven is 2weeks away and i'll have crappy number plates on... ;) ahwell tuff. Phil.
