hi mate welcome to the site . unfortunetly u cant map the standard ecu u have to go for aftermarket ecu for that kind of stuf. first thing i got told was to get a filter relocation kit so it can breath lol then a free flowing manifold and a decat pipe

its not to hard budy.. just let all the oil out (if its big ends u might see sum flakes of metal like i did) then ther is about atleast 10 x 10mm bolts that hold the sump onto the bottom end just take them off. no doubt itl have sealant on it to so ul need to pry it off

u mean u were doing 70 lol.. if i was u mate id go and drop the sump first, its probly the easiest way of checking the big ends then if its not that atleast its outo the equation

it sounds like my car when my big end bearings went. first thing i did when i herd that noise was droped the sump.

one otther question... are the hubs all the same count?

i can get a gt recon box with no miles for £200(have to drive 3hours to get it) or i can get a box that has done 57k with both driveshafts for £85 deliverd that £85 one seems to good to be true though

do u get difernet counts between models ,is the gt all 23 or is some 23 some 30?

has anyone got a photo or a diagram for me so i can link my high and low boost solinoid up properly? when i put the new engine in i never marked them so dont no which goes where and im constantly on high boost now

wel sad to say but think this is the end of my starlet once i get it sorted..ive spent well over £1500 in the past 4 months and i cant afford to keep this up as it stil casuing me more problems lol.. im going to clean it tomoz and polish it once last time i think gets some photos up that i have promised but havnt done yet then leave it in the garage til i get the right offer
