as i have my old engine im looking at forging that over a period of time so if i was to put the td04 on my current engine then i could just swap it over once it is finished

i was thinking that to but then couldnt think why you would pay nearly £100 for that lol.. someone must know?

so would it be ok to run a td04 at 0.7 bar on standard fueling and ecu? but im not botherd about the lag as im not one for racing lol. im just wanting to put the td04 on then start uprating other areas once it is on

what kind o numbers would i be looking at with the td04 at 0.7 boost(standard td04), fmic, fmaf , exhaust

i ssen photos of the engine before and it was ok so im guesing it was done in delivery. one wee question...if the exhaust side of the turbo isnt spining as freely as my other turbo could it be wrecked?

i managed to sort the pulley since i had spares,and the power steering is been removed anyway. but i phoned up and complaind but i told the guy i can get these parts and asked him if he could sort out geting me other parts i need instead so he said he would try his best so hes going to try and get me another manifold and turbo free of charge (as the manifold that came with this engine is also cracked like my old one)

engine arrived today..was delighted to see it geting unloaded. "> but then.. . unpacked it to find a few problems.. cam puley was snaped powersteering pulley was snaped timing belt cover was broken "> "> ">

if i was to put that on without any mods the now then work on it while its on.. eg uprating fuel then ecu.. would it be ok with standard fueling and ecu?

the mods i would be running to suport the td04 that i alredy have are... a/b fmic j+p(i think) front air filter and i would hesitate to gues the exhaust is either 2" or 2 1/2 " straight through

what is the standard preset boost for td04?

i had to drop the left hand side of the engine down at one point..took the wheel off to as it was easier to get into the cam pulley with the torque gun..but then the pully needed persauding to come off,i put a piece of wood on it and had to hit it off(ruff i no) it came off in the end with no damage though

i myt have to do myn this w.e depends on what my new engine is like:/...its not to bad changing the belt but the water pump is quite fidly.

i have to get a td04 after watching that lol.. i dont want to go over 1bar im happy with that..and just out of curiosity what would be the expected bhp with suporting mods if i was to run one at .8 bar? what else would i need to run at 1bar.. turbo mani downpipe water and oil lines fcd should i get biger injectors and if so size? ive got a fpr just havnt fiited it as i have no need as my engine will be standard.

its no arived yet lol...wat pics you looking at? if its the one of the inlet thats the old one i just cleaned it and sprayed it . engine is due on wed/thur time -

duno if i should change it over or sell it lol.. as il be puting the new engine back in this week hopefuly.. can anyone think what els i would be aswel changing? clutch is mint so not changing that..im not going to know about the cambelt till it arives. 1. clutch release bearing 2.? 3.?

since the inlet mani was off..and i was bored since ther nothing to do but wait for the new engine.. i thought id clean up the inlet and this was the finished product quite delighted with it..">">
