no not me mate i live about 45 mins to an hours drive from the city centre. only just still in notts.

thats sooo fuckin smart man, i totaly dig that soo much mate!

    especialy that side profile

in my eyes it looks totaly minted!! black speedlines where just made for the starlet i think,

obviusly im biased since i had them on mine

cheers mate there in dia need of some paint and tyres though i really need to sell my fez to raise some cash!!!

  3. Cheers everyone, im not 100% sure at the mo ive got loads of ideas floating round. i think the outside wont change much just need to get the power up a bit there are a couple of niggly bits to sort and i need some tyres and the alloys need repainting. im just waiting for a decent pay day!!!

Looks nice and clean mate, i was gonna get a splitter like that :D

    Whats your plans mate ?

dont do it!!! the splitter was on it when i bought it it looks spot on but this is on standard sr springs and it catches on everything so whin i finally get round to the coils this needs to be gone for something not so deep!!!

looks nice mate, where abouts in notts are you from

im right up the top of notts im not gona go in to details on here but im further north than mansfield!! where abouts you from roughly?

thanks again for all your comments.

  4. I was looking for a new car my my xr2i rep was looking a little tired and i was getting very bored i needed somthing cheaper to run and insure. I'd always quite liked the sr and after having done some research i decided to plum for one. After trawling the autotrader i found my SR it was 120 miles away but was a bargain not to be missed.

The sr was perfect it has less power than the fez but it weighs over 130kilo less handles like a go cart, its lower tax and the best news was the insurance was half the fez thats got to be a winner!! once ive upped the power a bit i'll be very happy for the time being!!!

  5. hello im Rob, im pretty new too to the forum. I joined about a month or so ago i drive a silver sr not done alot so far here is a quick pic of my car...

a few plans not much happening at the mo though.

There are some real quality motors on here and its top forum too its always nice and busy!!!

  6. I think that the idea behind the sugestion is good. But is it practicle but how would it be inforced would you have to have one lesson a week or month or what? i mean if you have to have a lesson a week for a year its gona cost you about £950 plus tests and if you fail what then???

im just glad i passed when i did ;)

  7. lol must admit, yes dirty, stained white cars are tack, looks like vans mainly, but i try to keep mine looking clean :) one in a while polish to avoid the white going yellow :p

vans thats exactly what i thought. thats why i went silver.

Rob (J18RSA on here) has just bought a white starlet and has spent days t-cutting it to get it white again its a good job he gets discount on stuff or else it would have cost him a fortune in t-cut!!!

  8. :p white cars are the beast!! you would love mine :) except it looks a bit girly hehe.

im sure your car is beautifull. i've just never really liked white cars they just seem to always look dirty (unless you have just washed it! obviously). but starlet's/glanza's do look alot better than most.

  9. thanks for your help guys waht sort of modds take it to the 90 bhp area usual exhaust, filter and much after that? wow it weighs at least 100 kilo less than my fez which is nice. and with the power being around the same if the starlet is running 90 bhp. su it should be a fair bit nippier. with half the insurance.

  10. sorry to steal your post rob (J18RSA) im a newbie here to and also looking in to a starlet as an upgrade is drasticly needed from my fiesta but does anyone know the official stats for the sr (BHP, 0-60 weight etc etc) im supposed to be going to sunderland to look at

    http://atsearch.autotrader.co.uk/WWW/CARS_...200631101224715

but im not wanting to loose speed just ££££££££££££'s of tax and insurance

    many thanks rob
