  1. hello people me agin fitting me actuator today and am confused there is a small gold cylinder that goes into the piping in the picture im confused as what is it actually for and why the hell its in there? so y does the cylinder go in there?? any info would be apreciated ?

  2. just got my hks but instructions r jap bit confused whether to have a go myself reckon i could prob do it but dunno whether to n e 1 got a guide or info on how to measure etc do u no n e garages in maidstone that would stick it on fairly cheap not a massive job is it lol done a oil change n service before shall i give this a go dont like playin witrh turbos??

Hi people, this is my glanza v have owned for just over a month now its grade 4 and is in fairly pristine condition with only 52000 miles on clock so far i have lowered the car on bc coilovers, and have fitted cruise alloys with toyo tyres let us no what you think, looking for as close tp 200hp in future:

  4. hi i no i been on here for while but most time i use me mobile to write sum posts on tue i get me new laptop and will be starting my build thread on my minty fresh grade 4 starlet glanza v the aim is to get this car to ultimate road spec im aiming for as close to 200bhp as possible and will prob keep ct9 but go for a hybrid upgrade from cr turbos for a bargain price of 380 with 1 yr warranty. at the moment the only mods r alloy wheels from dp motorsport with toyo tyre and a set of new bc coilovers from tm developments next i am having the brakes uprated to ebc yellowstuff disks and pads all round plus braided lines and better fluid after that ill prob get the exhaust sorted and am thinkin of goin for a japspeed exhaust.

    im having few probs with the v mainly turbo problems and sum major boost creep problems which i need to get sorted still bit unclear on what exactly is wrong with it lol but am visiting fuel cut regularly in cold weather yet im boosting to just below 0.8 any ways i will stard the thread on tue and post up sum pics of my ford escort rs turbo my xr3i and my celica as well.

    my car is standard and have been having trouble with the boost im looking to mod to 180hp not a hands on guy and i wanna take it sum where good not cowboys

    i went to tm developments on ova side of essex they seem fairly good but parts are expensive can sum 1 direct me into the light dont wanna get my pants pulled down n e help/ advice would be great

  6. turbo is spooling nicely and can hear the recirculating dump valve its pretty loud but some times the car is not holding boost it increases up the revs but the power is not following sum times this happen sum times it dont the clutch aint slippin have replaced plugs + leads this sorted out misfire but i have not changed the dizzy + rotary arm what could be causing this (boost does not go past 0.8) need sum help im well confused

  7. ok some of u may have seen my post about my juddering problems they where solved by a set of magnecor leads but now i have another problem i deristricted the boost and now the car hits fule cut its boost just past 0.8 and then light comes on when i change pipes back it goes to jus below 0.8 now from what i have red boost creep is a common problem how can i solve this what options do i have i no a relocated air filter gives the same problems but my car is standard i feel bit lost and thought modifying this cars would be fairly simple i phoned tmd today and they said something about porting the wastegate to help resolve this so i need sum help why does the boost creep can i stop this ??? what options do i have??

  8. does the engine management light come on when it happens? is it only 1 missfire?

    by the way BUCKET I LOVE YOUR INTERIOR i WANNA DO MINE IN BLU CARPET NA NO ECU LIGHT JUST SPLUTTERS N JUDDERS sorry bout caps on me mobile phone say im goin 30 in 4th i put me foot down it will start to boost on n off the poer and jerk about on low its fine but doesnt really feel much turbo says 0.4 on lo n hi is 0.8 its hard to explain i sent it bak today but they r goin to fix it???

  9. any chance of a video? sounds like one of those unexplainable ones. have you changed you HT leads, my dads a cabby and when his car start to judder, it normally the HT leads. wear out after around 60-70k. get some magnecors on it and see how it goes. But if its happening with only on high boost and you put full foot down , it sounds like fuel cut mate. "best bit the airfilter was perished with chunks missin that my lovely engine has now swallowed hole". that sounds pretty bad mate, hope the turbo didn't suck any junk in. Let us know how it goes after you tried a couple new parts.
    ok gonna try the leads and stuff could it be fuel but ? if i slowly put my foot down feathering throttle i can be alright foot flat and spluters on n off the power some time its fine this car is gettin me down just wanna no wot it is so i can go from there i was gonna be at the meet on fri but am workin :-( sum one help may its fuel cut and im a giant nub cake
  10. Just from this sentance it does sound like fuel cut - 0.8bar is very close to the fuel cut so you could easily be hitting it. But you said in the first post that when you rev it on idle it judders?
    it has hesitated on the throttle wen pulling away but i dont think its the same may be it is fuel cut ? car is stock though and no tamperin has took place im so confused but why some times can i drive it happily on hi boost ?
