This is a similar problem when your lambda/oxygen sensor is fucked as the air/fuel ratio goes out the window. I know ther completely different cars but did exactly the same in my old 306 xsi. Just got it on the diagnostic machine and the occilloscope shown that the sensor was dead.

OK NO NEED FOR CAPITAL LETTERS!! Does it do it when you put your foot down? as in on full boost? If you say do 35mph, put it in 5th, put your foot flat to the floor, does it sound like its missfiring near higher revs and higher boost??

okay so car is still judderin have now ordered new plugs leads oil filter now here is the best bit the airfilter was perished with chunks missin that my lovely engine has now swallowed hole could this be causing my judder ???? have oredered replacement airfilter but am goin to check all piping from air box and all valves is it possible this could be causing the problem if not sum 1 plz help me caus am gettin fed up with it now

i would look for arc marks on the leads and check the white bits of the plugs and make sure theres no cracks in them before anything but thats just my opinion mate

^^Thats what i was going to say it sounds more like the HT leads to me

mine done something simular to that and it was a HT lead breaking down like when i pulled away the revs like cut out and it judders slightly sorry if thats completly different

dont have to upgrade your ecu, but would need a fuel regulator, and the decat. this is known as the crude way.

better is to get an emanage setup, and have it mapped

got a boost gauge? if not, should get one

boost cut will only be when your gunning it.

got one it says 0.8 on hi boost low is 0.6 i think

i think im hitting fuel cut on my standard glanza it judders a bit on hi boost but then sum times its fine im running on v power car is fine on low boost n e ideas not really much of a mechanic minded person it some times judders at low revs ???? wen at crawl speed if i put me foot down it hesitates then picks up fine this is not all time but is common could this be leads or plugs

i just bought my glanza and want to mod as follows:

air filter blitz or hks

exhaust blitz nur spec r

hks actuator

fcd

intercooler

new leads magnecor

spark plugs

and possibly a decat do i need to uprate ecu i want 180-200 bhp but i want my car to be reliable dont want runing rich or lean can it cope or not? i also want a relocated air filter and cannot seem to find a proper kit any ideas thanks

They all do the same thing but it would be better to get a good brand that you can rely on as it's obviously not good if it breaks!

They're easy to fit but you'll need it set up on a rolling road to ensure the fuelling is ok.

bell insurance is wicked u can get insured as policyholder put your mum and dad as named drivers raise your excess to 500 and your sorted mate im 20 and am insured for 1700 1ynccb but declaring all mods that will be undertaken im with adrian flux good for mods but expensive tell em your member of owners clubs and that your car is your pride and joy and that you wouldn want to jepordise your liscence or the car if it still aint good ask speak to supervisor

hi people just bought my glanza im a first uk owner and car is 100% standard with 51000 miles, im looking to get the car to around the 200hp mark and want someone to explain exactly wot will be need for this i want the power and reliability as this car wil be my everyday car. wot parts brands etc are best to use and where can i buy them i am debating whether torque of devil or afr tuning will get the work n e 1 no much about them

i no the basics i will need air filter exhaust etc but as for how much psi turbos can take and stuff i dont have a clue i basically need a step by step guide on gettin the most out of my car i think i will opt for the blitz nur spec r exhaust system at the moment all i have got for my car is a set of alloys

Best place for alloys is ebay or on here or TGTT in the for sales sections imo thats your best bet of getting a bargin on something good!

bought myself a silver glanza today was only gonna get a white one but this car is pretty good its silver it has 51000 on clock and is grade 4 its a really clean little car its also completely standard untouched example have been searching on google and found apr racing does ne 1 no bout em? also where can i buy some good alloys from? what exhaust is better the blitz nur spec or hks silent hi power? i got 3 months warranty so im gonna see that through before i start tweaking her.

itook out for test and everything was good but car was bit juddery he said it hadnt been started for couple weeks but it was ok after while he said he would do cambelt and put new leads and plugs on and assured me everything would be fine i dont no much bout cars but had a rs turbo and that had same thing changed leads and it was fine i shouldn worry bout this should i as i got the warranty n e ideas?
