  1. It is so good to see another MK1 out there. I am currently doing the same. Talking to Patrick at JDM Auction Watch looking for a MK1 GT. I miss my old one i imported 12 years ago and now has come the time to have another one but needs to be a MK1.

  2. Hello All,

Need some knowledge as i dont understand. Standard starlet with a big intercooler and a jap speed exhaust along with an adjustable actorvator. it is running 0.8 bar but has no supporting mods. It has standard ecu but no FCD or FPR.

    Is this right / ok?

    thank you

  3. Hello Everyone,

I am currently selling my car and on the hunt for a MK1 starlet turbo. The one above is my old one and i would love to get back in the starlet as they are great cars. I can travel for the right one so please message me if you have one for sale or thinking of selling one or know of someone who has one.

    Thank you so much

    Nick

  4. Year:2006/2007
    Model:Ibiza
    Tax: None new rule
    MOT: 12 months
    Mileage: 129000

    Description:
    Hello All,

For sale is my Seat Ibiza cupra TDI. I have just put it through its mot which it passed with flying colours no advisorys.

    129000 miles
    Service History
    12 months MOT
    Recent new turbo
    Big intercooler
    Good tyres
Remapped but no proof but can tell by how it moves.
    lowered about 20mm
The car has recently had some work done.
    Springs and shocks all round
    Both front link rods
    Gearbox seal
    CV boot
    Tie rod

Would swap for a MK1 or 2 Starlet GT Turbo

    Only bad points are:

    • Scuff on back bumper
    • small chip on right front wing that has surface rust (cheap fix or second hand replacement cheap from a breaking cupra £50)
    • Passenger seat back doesn't move forward to allow people in back.

This is reflected in the price as it would be up for £2500+

    Price: £2250

  5. Ah ok I'll tell him to do one it was just weird he pm me Facebook and just popped out the blue lol. Yeah tbh my mate had a bright yellow one black bonnet and the standard interior was just right lol it even had flip out cup holders lol. But sadly he hit a wall granite post at 120 So the car is no more. I think I'll definitely do the import route I'll just save a lillie more as I've only got 2500 and can't really find any around that hasn't got summit wrong

You will be looking at about 3500 from auction watch.

  6. Ok so been othered one off a mate now I don't really trust him lol but he's told me whys wrong with it. App the sunroof leaks?? Are they easy to get hold off and app it's smokes but he says its turbo seal an easy to fix is that true?

Not sure about the sunroof mate but if she smokes thats really a new turbo.

  7. Aye it's 55 to get a number plate/ registration but you pay roughly 30% of the total invoice for customs and duty you also have to pay a handling fee to the shipping company for them to take your car off the boat then you pay your import company like jdm auction watch whatever fee they want is usually at least 500 + they don't do it for free like lol

Yeah you are right there mate. What i meant was if you said you want to pay 3500 all in then they will find you a car, import it, do all the customs and vat within that 3500 thats what i was getting at lol. As when i got my green mk1 i had a price of 3000 all in and that got me the car, importing it to the uk, registering, dutys and tax, mot, and a cambelt change. All that was in my 3000 so all i needed to do was give a 50% deposit (1500) and then the final 1500 when i collected it when the car was here and fully registered no other payments apart from my £3000.

I'll definitely look into I'll wait until the ne year and star contacting them. That one looks mint with the wheels on it

Thank you mate it took me about 2 months to find it and when it hit the uk i had a little body work done to the front bumper. The wheels i bought while the car was on its way to the uk so once it was ready for me to pick up i took her home and put them on a 3 hour polish and wax and she came out like that.

Full tomz on the outside and totally standard mk1 on the inside i loved the interior that was one of my favorite parts about the car. :D

  8. From what i read online when looking into registering a car it look to cost about £55.

This is my old EP82 i imported about 5 years ago. I loved it doesnt look anything like it now which is a real shame.

  9. England bud. But I genuinely don't have a clue to do once it's here lol

If you use JDM auction watch they will find it sort it out for you and bring it to the uk and sort out the import duties out of what you pay for it. All you have to do is pay for the car and register it to the uk which i believe is £55.
