  1. You know, I give the guy some serious credit too cause he did that in MS paint... :(
  2. Please dont by into that electric super charger crap.... You can turbo charge a Hi comp. motor, the trick is to making sure it is tuned properly. If I could find the video again, I could show you an ALL STOCK INTERNAL 5efhe (high compression cynos 5efe) boosting at 34 psi. ITS ALL ABOUT THE TUNE. Edit: Heres the video- http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=h...uxcyA&gl=US
  3. If you are scared, you can also disconnect the coil from the dizzy...that will keep you from getting spark too.
  4. So what was it you paid for it, and what is it you do to have that kind of cash?
  5. Just curious, what are the payments on that bad boy?
  6. Thanks, color is actually the color they used on 1998 dodge vipers... Went with the matte black engine paint to make the blue items under the hood stand out more, plus black is simple and easy to paint with. The motor has been good so far...boosted hi compression makes for a really responsive motor. Just have to play it safe and make sure the tune is spot on so I don't kill it.
  7. Can you see out the back window...LOL
  8. Oh...LOL It is a 1995 Toyota Tercel, came stock with a DIS 5efe motor. It now houses a 2nd generation 5efhe with a turbonetics T3, and various supporting mods. Haven't done much with it since the swap, just been working on the Tune...using an Emanage Blue. Right now I basically have it tuned for no boost, and just taking it easy and baby steps so I don't blow anything up. When I get the cash together, it will go to a professional tuner so I know it's safe to boost around on. Need more info?
  9. Spec? On what particular part are we referring to? Just curious so I can answer a little more clearly...
  10. Well, this is neither a starlet, or paseo but still a very close relative. I recently completed a DIS 5efe to Turbo 5efhe swap in my 95 tercel, and just thought I would share some photos of it. Since I have gotten knowledge from this site, as well as help and support, I figured I should at least show my little contribution... started with this...but I actually had steelies before those wheels and no air dam kit either. That's all...for now!!!
  11. Asthma attack? Man, I had asthma as a kid and it wasn't fun...cant imagine dieing from it. Sad sad thing to hear Thoughts and prayers go out to his family!!!
  12. Ok, I see your point... Hmmmm, its got me wondering how you would set it up with 1 can on a turbo system now???
  13. If using only 1 catch can, this is the only way I see you being able to use the system to its most efficient potential... and you really wouldnt even need the PCV on the rocker cover anymore with it that way.
  14. Ok, but what happens when you hook this up with a turbo setup, pre-turbo? The wheel in the turbine would create more suction...and that suction would greatly increase the more throttle you give it.
  15. So in essence, its working like this?
  16. This is the portion I am confused about. Only when the system is under vacuum does this not make sense in the way I see it drawn in your diagram. If the Intake Filter is sucking in air from an outside source, then any hole along that pipe is going to create air flow in the direction of manifold...and the crank case is pressurized, so along with that and the vacuum, how is it you would get air flow from the intake pipe to the rocker cover? Just looking for clarification cause this makes no sense to me when looking at it from a Fluid Dynamics stand point.
  17. But there is still vacuum in the pipe between the filter and the manifold, so that would draw air from the crank case in the first picture...but with both those 1 way check valves, in the first picture the only port doing anything for the rocker cover is the one going directly to the catch can.
  18. I dont get how in the first picture, you get flow from your intake vacuum source to your pressurized rocker cover???
  19. Dang dude, thats crazy...Glad you are ok. Did that lady drive off after it happened or did she stay and give all her details to the police?
  20. http://www.wildweasel.ca/HowTo/Auto/eturbo.aspx Nuff said....
  21. Aren't these 3 pin TPS self resetting though?
  22. I can give that a try... Would you happen to know what the voltage should read for the 3 pin TPS with these ep91 electronics?
  23. Ok, let me first explain what it is I own and the setup I have on it. I own a 95 Toyota Tercel (EL53) with a 5e-fhe turbo swap running on 4e-fte (EP91) electronics. Now the problem has something to do with the EFI system. I seem to be dumping fuel into cylinders 1 and 4 when my injectors are plugged in, and cylinders 2 and 3 seem to be fine. Now when I unplug injector clips 1 and/or 4 my RPM's stay the same but my AFR leans out a bit. I can even start the car with injector clips 1 and 4 unplugged. I have gone over the wiring numerous times, and the custom I had made was done by a professi
