hi guys, im just looking into sorting a new bov. does anyone have a fitting guide? ive spent an hour looking and no luck, ive read info on blocking off the standard bovs pipe etc? again i have no idea which pipe or what im on about actually,lol. so any help would be massivly appreciated. cheers, chris

i bought 12 tubs from morrisons last week for 1.80 each. went away for the weekend, came back and my freezer had broken!!! all wasted, i almost cried. still got no freezer yet its mena come next week. its on offer in asda again but i cant get any. :'(

hey, as the title says really, was hoping i could use the toyota ones on the car but they dont quite fit the gap. there grids by the way if that matters which i dont thinnk it does.

cheers mate, id found the user manual, but i cant understand any of that to be honest.lol. ill have another good look, i sort of understood it controlled boost etc. its set at 0.8 bar, can i up the boost or is it better to leave it well alone? it has an uprated actuator which i beleev you need to fit when fitting the boost controller? so does that meen i can play around a little bit

hye, my glanza v was fitted with a apexi avcr boost controller and the actuator uprated. would someone explain to me what these do? also what the b.controller does and how to play with it, also if i should be playing with it. lol. cheers guys, p.s im new to turbos thats all. chris

ha, its not too dificult. i dont think id live long enought o do them mate, my g.f is already freekin because out kitchen and hall way stinks of spray paint, i quite like it.

diy, but i spent a while doing them, spent a couple of hours sanding them down, theres still one lip that is a little bit ruff but with out sand blastin i dont think it would have smoothed it, masked up took forever. 4 coats of grey primer, 3coats of audi aluminium silver and 4 coats of clear laquer. i didnt sand in between coats as i wanted the lip to be shiny as poss, (like original) come out really well, just need to put 2 new tyres on paint the calipers and get them on, will be donw monday

sorry about poor quality pics, ill get some on my digital camera when there on the car next week, if any one can help with spiggot rings thatd be awsum halfrods sell them but only in a kit with wheel nuts ans stuff i dont need for 25quid. cheers,

it looks like somethings eaten away at the chrome/shiny lip on it, so think it may need rubbing down and re-spraying to be honest. unless that autosol would work on that do you think??

lol. i know thats the best option, ive got a 7week old little girl getting 20mins to test that aint easy at the mo. ill remain positive and have a go tomoro, need to re-spray the lips on them as the chrome has gone cloudy,

yep definately et 40, 6.5 " wide, so chances of them fitting without spacers and no rubbing, the tyres are 195's.

looked into it abit further, been on rotas website, they only made rota grids in 15" 4 x 100, et 40. so back to my sort of origional question, will they fit without rubbing?? or do i now need a 5mm spacer, or 3mm spacer. cheers.

did abit more reading, need a 10mm spacer by the looks of it, will they be fine with a 10mm spacer? my last car rubbed and i cant be bothered with that again, cheers guys.

just picked up my rotas from metro centre ( thats car park color system is absolute shit.lol) they didnt have nay spiggot rings with them, do i need a particular set? or will any spiggot rings do? also there et 45 do i need a 2mm spacer or will they be ok as i believe there only 2mm out, (form what ive read on here) there 15's if that info is needed. cheers guys,

just got a right bargain on ebay, set of gunmetal rota grids for £120. there the ones i was saving up for!! going to pick them up tomoro night. My clear lenses mph dials and tint are all here aswell. should be a busy monday hopefully now. will start a project thread on monday with some pics of it in its standard glory now. lol.

will do, it might not be rgb performance, ill check the sticker when i get home, i think the tuning was done on the boost and the uprated (thing) cant remember the name now,lol. hopefully itll stay nice and dry till i get home so i can go for a preoper play as yesterday was very wet, spining wheels dont move you very quickly.

hey, well i woke up sat and thought i might change my fto, got a little carried away and ended up with one yesterday. its absolutly awsum. i had a gpx fto, 197bhp. and that now feels very slow compared to the glanza. the acceleration is awsum!!! im loving it already. its a black glanza V, hks induction kit, apexi boost controller. dump valve, (dont know make yet) dirty great sub in boot which will be binned soon as i get round to it. basically couple of questions. 1. anyone know how the apexi controller works as it looks pretty but id like to know how to work it. 2. what free mods sho
