hey mate this mite not be the case for you but this same problem was happening to my old n/a conversion turned out it was the thermostat /engine temp sensor ( its near the dizzy and has a green plug) - give that a look over with a multi meter or do a self diagnostic

i would bleed the brakes from back to front again aswell just in case nah there about 20 on camskill and prob a few quid for postage

Theres a 10mm nut on the right of the handbrake inside the car that needs to be adjusted i think

your alternator sounds fine bit of a pricey way to solve diesel issue but i would have thought you could have disconnected the fuel line to the fuel rail connect the line to another hose and place the other end of hose into a large drum or have it pointing to somewhere safe to drain prime the fuel pump, and let the pump push fuel around the system until the fuel tank is empty - that should drain all the diesel - also unbolt fuel rail and rinse with petrol there should only be minimal diesel left in the injectors im sure this is the easiest way to flush out all the diesel

hey guys ive been on here for a year but i thought i would post my build thread now seeing as ive actually started the actual 'build' part lol! speed first ---- cosmetics later lol! - by the way i will get better pics as some of them on here dont show much Anyway I picked up this ep82 quadlight last year - came with a couple of mods but was sold non-running - bit of a gamble lol - had an engine rebuild and been sat on my drive for ages - no time or money but ive been hoarding parts over Nov/Dec and this is everything done so far...... after i decided i only wanted to drive this car with a td04 so i went about getting rid of any parts i didnt need the car came with a random starlet t25 mani attached to an adapter to fit a ct9 and a stainless steel downpipe and ct9 turbo all in the boot (turbo is going in the forsale today by the way - v.cheap by the way) any way so i have these toys fitted at the mo Dastek piggy back ecu + boost module Uprated celica st185 front twin pots and redrilled brakes - i will be switching to e30 bmw 318i performance discs soon - some one on the forum did a thread on it, cant remember who but hats off to ya mate! prada spec 2 tyres and the alloys are just what it had when i got it - they will do for now Greddy boost gauge Greddy turbo timer Momo steering wheel and boss 4" jap system 3 inch pipe all the way - unsure on brand - came with the car - love the sound of it fuel pressure reg + gauge Bought a honda civic rad and mugen rad cap + 12" fan polished the top of the rad using my dremel lol Bought a greddy intercooler setup of the forum was quite dirty so out came the dremel again lol Bought my td04 mani and downpipe - toyosport of ebay - and to anyone who wants to comment negatively on the mani quality dont use my thread use somebody elses lol - i think its worth the punt Bought a fresh td04, off a 2003 scooby only done 19,000 miles, and rotated it assembled pics of the turbo kit - dremel polished the turbo compressor housing too bolt on the turbo kit today and mocked up the intercooler and ali rad - should be finished tomorrow hopefully Ive got a list of bits i need to do but im hopeful for it being on road fully in march - got loads of brackets to fab up and install a dv and so on and so on but i will get there..... update soon! cheers for reading or looking, appreciate any comments guys thanks
