hey mate this mite not be the case for you but this same problem was happening to my old n/a conversion turned out it was the thermostat /engine temp sensor ( its near the dizzy and has a green plug) - give that a look over with a multi meter or do a self diagnostic

i would bleed the brakes from back to front again aswell just in case nah there about 20 on camskill and prob a few quid for postage

Theres a 10mm nut on the right of the handbrake inside the car that needs to be adjusted i think

why am i a big sausage? - unless youve been spying on me in the shower lol! cheers mate nah its not forged i was building it to the best i could on stock internals - keeping in mind it had a complete rebuild 220 aint bad i was hoping with a rrfpr and some 370 cc injectors and a remap i mite get 230-235bhp?.....all i want is 200 bhp at the wheels so what ever it takes to get there, any more power is just a bonus any suggestions

your alternator sounds fine bit of a pricey way to solve diesel issue but i would have thought you could have disconnected the fuel line to the fuel rail connect the line to another hose and place the other end of hose into a large drum or have it pointing to somewhere safe to drain prime the fuel pump, and let the pump push fuel around the system until the fuel tank is empty - that should drain all the diesel - also unbolt fuel rail and rinse with petrol there should only be minimal diesel left in the injectors im sure this is the easiest way to flush out all the diesel
