    MK2 and mk3 ecu pinout is the same and code is 10100. The mk1 1991 is 10040 and will need two wires swapped to run in a MK2 or mk3

    That's a pre 1991 ecu by what I remember and won't work in the MK2 others will be able to confirm

    Ah i see same ecu i didn't read it properly im not sure then what's the code on your standard ecu

    Was it a green label on your previous ecu you will need to use the ecu pin out diagram and swap the wires I had the same problem

    The earlier ecu I think is with a green label. The black label or code with 10100 is manual and think is straight plug into 1992 onwards and 10040 is pre 91 and will need two wires swapped to work in a later model

    Check the codes on ecu if it's pre 1992 and put in a later model the wires need to be swapped others will be able to confirm

    Just recieved a blitz ecu Had no stickers just the marks were they use to be it's also the ecu show in the gtturbo king thread with the writing on so was sure it was genuine. I plugged it in set to 1 bar and no fuel cut etc but at full boost it was 10.9 to 11 on a/f ration will this be ok

    I've looked at the code on the ecu I got black label 10100. Then new ecu im looking to get from the squre light gt is the same code does this mean the wires still need swapping
