extra parts, and when they go wrong they are usually catastrophic failure like crank casea fucked etcYeah the drz seems like a tank in comparison to the 250fs and 125s. Do you do all the work on your bike yaself?
I 've had a look at the 125 excs, but for the price I may as well get a bigger bike. What is it that makes the 4 strokes so expensive to rebuild mate?
I'm guessing something like the drz would be more reliable than a 250f as its not as highly strung?

Pretty much but upload a pic and any info and a location + price and I can take a peek.
Cheers

Always wondered about some of the off road 4wd systems being mutilated there's some fairly small ones about...

Any condition considered.

fat bird in the boot acting as a counterbalance lol.I think its great doing something different and great engineering. What are you planning on using it for? Surely its only going to work as a dragger?
Id be concerned it'll handle like a sack with all the added weight over the front end? Done anything to counter that?

Nope, but I know a few lads who have been frequenters on here and a mate of mine have used them time and time again with good results. They actually do post on here every now and then, they have some faqs and stuff about starlets on they're site.
Arnold on here will tell you they have done his which he's always been well happy with.

Daniels advise is very much the way to go.
You should get an electric supercharger kit on ebay

Maintain them, check car over very well and buy a minter. They're better damn reliable for sure.

Probably nearside but anyones guess

Only needs an oem splitter I'd also opt to leave it as is. Looks awesome and very rare to see a pretty much unfettled V

no way to accurately pin point this figure unfortunately.yeah ? there is going to be a mix of km and miles just need to find out how many miles it had when it was imported then youll have a rough idea of how many miles its really done will help the sale no end id say?

Seen these being used on a 2L with battery removed. There is certainly some form of black magic within these boxes
-
so it's had a mph conversion since the day it left the forecourt? That's 100k miles

Was gonna say speak with morgey lol

Get an exc variant or the crf250x wouldn't really get an actual motocross bike on the road they're not designed for it and it takes a huge toll. Seen a few come through the local mx shops the owner hasn't a good word to say about them. If your only planning on short outings and green lanes a 2 stroke would be alright.
Downside to a 250f on the road is the disgusting massive rebuild cost which can easily out weigh bike value, plus they can be right assholes to start even more so when hot.
only really talking through motocross related experience and comments from an old skooler who fixes these fuckers when they blow

Got a trainset from santa a few year ago, arrived with parts missing and coal in place of missing track etc, but he's alright as last year he delivered me a PAIR of matching socks.
