  1. I'd love too but: 1) I like a comfortable ride, especially when my route to work and back includes 20 speed bumps and a fair amount of potholes 2) If I lowered the car AND put lips on I don't think I'll be able to get on or off my drive (there's a bit further down the drive from where the cars are parke thats about a 50degree slope, which I'd either destroy the lips or ground out on ) 3) Costs money and insurance companys get funny over lowering I'm led to believe. However, me and Jo are currently discussing getting our own place, so the speed bumps and awkward drive could at some point
  2. Do you know where he lives?
  3. Well, the plan for this weekend is to paint the strut brace blue then get it fitted, but before that goes on will get scrubbing to get the engine bay a bit cleaner (general road dirt and all that shizzle). And depending on how much bothered factor I have, might even get the wire brushes out too Also, if I have time will also be fitting some Xenon headlight bulbs to give me improved vision at night Next thing after that is.........not sure yet, probs going to be painting/tidying up engine bay parts and stuff like that.
  4. Are you not bringing your mate down to the June Bluewater meet then Bourkey?
  5. Yeah, he joined up last week. But both me and Tommy G have spotted his car round Maidstone in the past. He has a flip paint n/a. Maybe he'll post some pics up of his car soon. If not, I'll meet up with him and take some photos
  6. *sulks* :P I have no come-back to that, not a thing.....
  7. Yeah, as in Kara & Gav, Sl8ter & Jett, and Janice & Scoot
  8. Have only just noticed the TRD logo on the bottom of the ashtray (shame on me). Think that looks pretty smart in conjunction with the engine start button though
  9. Drove the other way past rcikymp in his flip paint 5-door n/a extraordinaire this morning on the way to work. (must be something about Maidstone and 5 door n/a's ) Great thing is though, he seemed to instantly spot my car too and we both gave a nod of recognition as we went past
  10. Awesomeness on a stick, that's some funky stuff right there! Finally reached the point where your suspension can be improved no further, a point where I'm sure very few n/a owners have reached, if any at all before you As have said before the new steering wheel is gorgeous, and is practical too (airbag etc) so all is groovy. Isn't there an update you're still missing? ?
  11. Looking gorgeous Phil The carbon fibre goodies aint half bad either They look awesome, although can't help thinking they look a little bit at odd with the light grey plastic of the rest of the dash (don't get me wrong, I love the c/f bits, before you bite my head off )
