Probably a very very daft question, but why have bonnet pins? Surely the normal latch thingy is good enough at holding the bonnet down?

Got a buyer for the blue Starlet yet? Tell me how much of a difference the better quality oil makes when you've done it as interested if would make any difference to how my car runs. Looking forward to seeing those alloys still :P

I get watermarks too, but usually a bit o chamois leather gets rid of them Dont use hose either Shelly, just tip buckets o water over the car

Bout every 2 - 3 weeks is how often mine gets done. Rinse car first, then Autoglym car shampoo, then rinse off and chamois leather it. Haven't used wax/polish in a while due to it being too wet/cold lately. Every 4 weeks(ish) I'll also clean out the interior too (Hoover, polish etc.....)
