Excuse my mechanical ignorance, but how do you go about cleaning/getting to said parts? Is it simple (bearing in mind I'm fairly simple ;)) When you say buy new ones, do you mean distributor cap & rotor arm (have part numbers for these already just in case ;) )
Sorry to dig up an OLD thread, but my Levin is having similar problems with big dips in idle speeds (almost halves). Assuming changing the spark plugs would help?
Will take about 35 litres to fill your tank up, so looking between £35-£40 for a tank And can go for up to 50 miles when the light comes on, depending on driving style
Let me know how you get on with the cambelt man, as got the cambelt for mine, just having trouble getting the tensioners and idle bearing. (have the toyota part no. for the cambelt itself by the way, if you want it drop me a PM)
