  1. Year: 1993 L Reg

    Model: EP82

    Tax: N/A

    MOT: May 2016

    Mileage: 130,500 miles / 210k kms

    Description:

I bought this car back in October 2013 as a small side project. I didn't think it needed much work other than an MOT and rear calipers but when the car was delivered I noticed the cylinder head was cracked on the usual spot (manifold stud). Instead of having it welded, my brother Aamir said he would fit a new head. We had a spare cylinder head sitting around, so that was chemically cleaned and had new stem seals fitted. This was then fitted to the car with a new head gasket and head bolts.

After fitting new calipers, the car passed MOT and Aamir took it to Japfest earlier this year. On the way home, he discovered an oil leak and noticed the cars boosting too late. It turned out the oils coming from the turbo so it's most probably dead. The car has been sat in storage since, because none of us have had the time to fix it so I think it's best to sell up.

Other than the turbo, any other faults are listed below:

    - Drivers side door handle needs replacing

    - Bonnet latch doesn't release bonnet latch, I think a new cable is needed as the latch works fine

    - A few pipes in the engine bay need replacing with OEM items, I'm pretty sure I'll have these spare though so I'll include them for the new owner

    - A few marks on the bodywork, all pictured

Other than the marks pictured, I would describe the paintwork as very good with no fade or shoddy repairs.

    Spec list:

    - Genuine Blitz LM air intake

    - 15x7" Enkei RP01 newly refurbished Silver

    - Lowering springs

    - Whiteline adjustable panhard rod

    - Powerflex engine and gearbox mounts (like new)

    - Genuine Toyota wind deflectors

    - Aftermarket backbox

    - New discs and pads all round, these have barely covered 1k miles

    - New handbrake cables

    - New Exedy OEM replacement clutch

*Please note the Buddyclub Spec II and CD player pictured do not belong to me so will be removed before sale.

I think I've covered everything but if I think of anything else, I'll add to this thread.

    Price: £1600
