I'm sure the new owner downsized to a TD04 as the TD06 was 'too laggy'.

Me and Uzzy went to Amsterdam and Brussels in mine covering 1200 miles in 3 days. She didn't miss a beat.

Fuel wise, we were getting around 250 miles from a tank.

The Glanza had a coolant issue at Japfest 2 years ago and it's appeared again. It looses coolant on track or at (very) high speed. I haven't investigated it yet but that needs sorting next along with a new gearbox or a rebuild.

No, both OEM gaskets are the same

They are discontinued however we stock an alternative 0.5mm MLS head gasket.

Thanks Amjad, we'll see how it feels on Silverstone at Japfest tomorrow although I won't driving so I'll get feedback from my brother.

I gave her a much needed wash today, bonnet pins are now fitted too.

It's been a while..

The Glanza has mainly been parked in the unit throughout winter. Japfest prep was left to the last minute, as always.

First up, ID-Workz style Cruise bonnet (now fitted with aerocatches)

Next was a new MOT and 4-wheel Hawkeye wheel alignment. I went with -0.5 degrees of negative camber for now.

Lastly an engine and gearbox oil change. Mobil1 10w60 engine oil and Lucas 75w90 for the gearbox with the addition of oil stabilizer as it's starting to whine a little. That will get rebuilt or replaced soon. (Mileage reads 130,123 for my own reference)

I won't be at Japfest but Uzzy will be there with Aamir and Tayyib.

I received them today as promised.
