  1. Some pictures.. Demo Glanza I just had to sand and file some of the edges, and had them fitted nicely
  2. The gap was bigger than the OEM ones on the original fenders I borrowed, the first few pairs I had made came out just the same but after that they seem to fit better. I've not had a single complaint for the last 10 pair or so that I've sold.
  3. This is how they look without the top vents, another customer who was chuffed with them.
  4. Full ID-Workz kit on a customers car (apart from front bumper). Sorry about the poor quality iPhone camera.
  5. Hello again nice to see you back! I haven't seen the car again, and I've been on here everyday since you left are you thinking of returning to the scene?

    Whos to blame

It's such a shame, heard so many poor stories about TD now. Mike and Nick are top guys, really nice to deal with in my experience however I have never had any service from them, I've only bought a few parts ie. Clutch/headbolts. It seems they need to up their communication and definitely get a bit more organised, just heard way too many horror stories about their work. Who started the engine up first time? If the bottom end is knocking, maybe they didn't prime the engine and turbo before firing the car up. In that case it is no fault of Ferns. If you asked TD to check the engine then they should have definitely done that before fitting it imo.
  7. So the Demo GT was not practical for my weekly motorway commutes and general local driving, so I've got myself this little beast. My brother bought this around 6 months ago, but over the last month he has wanted a Starlet GT/Civic Vtec after driving my CRX and my GT. So I gave him the GT in p/x for this, as I've always had a soft spot for these. He very nearly bought a Golf TDI before he bought this but I didn't allow him. The car, it's a Seat Leon Cupra 150 (1.9 TDI). Covered 107k miles, FSH and it passed MOT with flying colours last week. It came with the 18" Team Dynamics alloys and M3 wing mirrors when he bought it, then he had the windows tinted and HID kit fitted a couple of months ago. The first thing on my to do list is get the wing mirrors replaced with OEM ones, and maybe change the wheels to a set of Cupra R alloys or even BBS Replicas if funds allow. She also needs to be lowered but I'm not sure about slamming it yet as I cover a lot of miles and appreciate the ride comfort! If funds allow I'd love a pair of Cupra R bumpers (or just the front), wind deflectors, lowering springs, Lenso BBS style wheels and a cheeky little remap. Not sure about spending on it though as the money could be better spent on the Demo Glanza! Idrees
  8. Niiiice, get it fitted quick
  9. Indeed, never saved in my life
  10. The spoiler would look ace if it was the OEM style I think this one looks too big on the sides. Awesome work on the car so far though!
  11. Just look at the bundle of cash to keep you smiling for the time being!
  12. I don't like that tbh, it looks too much but of course that's just my opinion.
  13. If I have enough time next weekend to have the tyres fitted
  14. Hopefully just ordered some T1Rs now.
  15. This is an old thread guys The Glanza with 16x8" ET10: The tyres were too thick so they didn't look their best imo. I now have the same wheels again, in Bronze and I'll be fitting them with low profiles.
  16. The last thing I wanted to do is post this up and name/shame this user, but I'm sick to death of him taking the absolute p*ss. He was supposed to send my wheels back over 3 weeks ago, every few days he keeps saying they have been sent and has said the same all week. I told him I would like payment for the wheels if they are not here by Friday, absolutely no sign of them but he is making lame excuses blaming the courier and is failing to provide a tracking number. It started before Christmas when he was selling a set of wheels for £450. I offered him cheaper wheels in exchange, worth £260 and some parts on top. He asked for a set of overfenders (£110) and a duck tail spoiler (£115) on top, which is a total of £485. He would pay postage for the parts so I accepted the deal and waited for his wheels to arrive, as we agreed he would send me his first. This was early/mid December. I waited and waited, and he was getting annoyed if I asked him what the story was. He used excuses such as breaking up with his girl friend and how his life was a mess so I waited patiently. Christmas and New Year passed by, and still absolutely nothing from him. So I contacted him again early January, and he now wanted me to send him the wheels first. I had no problem with that so I sent him the wheels straight away. Waiting to hear from him again and he still hadn't posted the Tom's out, then started saying how the wheels I sent needed a refurb, even though I showed him pictures and they were in good condition. He picked the smallest of marks on the wheels and used them as an excuse to ask for more parts his way. I wasn't willing to mess about any longer so I asked him kindly to send the wheels back, this was the first weeks of January iirc, I'll check my PM inbox to check dates. Now since then, every week he has been saying they are sent. Then apparently he put the wrong address on them. Then his dad who works at the courier place had the wheels on 'hold' because I never refunded his postage money, which he never even asked for?! I said I'd refund it when I got my wheels back in the same condition they were sent in! So at the start of this week I was sick of this going on and told him if they're not here by Friday I simply wanted £260 for the wheels to which he replied 'Yeah fair enough'. Friday's gone, and absolutely no sign of any courier or wheels. He simply does not care as he has 'bigger things to worry about'; If they had to be split, why couldn't he go down sooner and split them? Why could they 'Not be sent' so you had to go and talk to them? I used dozens of couriers weekly and have done for years, and these excuses sound like a load of shit. The day before he said he isn't sending them til I refund the postage money? This happened more than once. He clearly states he has sent them via 'registered courier' but can't even provide the tracking number. What would you do next?
  17. I can get it sent cheaper mate, drop me a PM.
  18. Man, so you don't like your white one then? Haha, sorry it had to be done. Agree with some of the others, I couldn't care about the car, more so about pathetic drivers. Taxi drivers are so impatient it's unbelievable, white van men are usually cunts who give you dirty looks, and usually go mental if you horn when they swerve in front of you. And don't even get me started about the majority of women drivers, the amount of those I see driving with no lights in the dark is crazy too. Ah, and old people who don't know how to drive any more. I know it sounds really harsh on them, but they help cause accidents imo. They should have some sort of retest after the age of 70 or thereabouts just to recheck their vision and check if they can actually drive.
  19. Welcome along mate, local to me
  20. I occasionally see a EG Civic cruising about, blue car with red front end.
  21. They will rub the rear arches like crazy, the fronts should be ok thanks to the wide fenders. I'll get something sorted about the rear though
  22. Looks quite clean, I would have kept my Blue one if it wasn't an auto!
  23. Cheers guys yeah I really want to keep them this time. I'll get some rubber ordered when I have some spending money then get them fitted!
  24. Same here, the accommodation I stay in is across the road from Uni and in the 4 months of studying I have not been to one lesson on time. Same when I was at college, it's literally a 4 minute walk but in my 2 years of attending I only went on time one morning. Nobody ever asks, they can see I've just woken up besides they don't seem to care at Uni anyway. ;)
