  1. Hello there I blew my GTs engine last night but it was on its way out anyway, should have my other one on the road next week. Any changes to the Evo?
  2. Yes, get under the car and see the length of the driveshafts. If they look roughly the same size, it's an optional Toyota LSD. If the drivers side is a good bit longer then it won't be, unless it's an aftermarket LSD fitted to the original gearbox.
  3. Vtec turbo is awesome, best of luck Nath.
  4. I've got one with a clear lense, PM'd you mate
  5. Now then, I know it's all about moving on, but how did 2010 treat you? Anything interesting happen, or anything bad perhaps? For me, I don't think it could have been a better year. I think it's one of the best so far. Just a little summary if anyone is interested - Started Uni again, I didn't fancy my old course (Transport design) so I'm now studying Automotive Engineering which I am pleased with - ID-Workz was set up at the start of 2010, and has had an amazing starting year (thanks to ALL you guys) - I had a months holiday in April - ID-Workz Demo Glanza was mostly built, my first engine build ever. There is only small things remaining to get the car finished. - ID-Workz Demo GT was started, which is almost on the road now - I bought lots of Starlets, and lots of wheels, and lots of parts :P - I had my first track day experince, where I drove an Audi R8 and a Murcielargo - And finally... I got hold of a Cruise bonnet to mould from last week! I'd also like to take this opportunity to wish you all an amazing 2011, and hope you get the best you deserve. And a HUGE thanks is due to Geo, ID-Workz would not have been here if it was not for this man. He been supportive on another level since the first time I told him about plans for this business. Thanks a million mate, all your help and support has truly been appreciated. So come on, tell us about Twenty-Ten! Idrees
  6. Happy new year boys and girls
  7. I also agree with Socks ;) New piston rings, new shells and the bores honed would only make sense mate. Atleast that way you know the whole engine is fresh
  8. This topic should be a sticky and I can bump it up every time I go to the cinema on a Weds
  9. Yeah they are on my website mate Click Here!
  10. Welcome along Kirsty, you're not far from me. ;) Keep your eyes peeled for a Huddersfield meet in the new year!
  11. Your visit to me is long overdue mate, when are you coming up?!
  12. Thanks for the lovely words chaps. Lewis don't say that babe, what's mine is yours
  13. Thanks guys, your nice words are appreciated Steve they would be the cherry on top for yours! Daz it's just the holes where they bolt on, so easy to do. The reason they don't come from factory like that is to keep costs down for you guys. The holes are clearly marked out and it took me 3-4 minutes to drill them, then simply bolted them on like the original wings.
  14. Don't get confused guys, this car isn't being resprayed! The engines now in, there's just a few little things to get sorted before getting her running. I can't fit the turbo kit until I can get a brace welded to the manifold and an actuator bracket welded to the turbo, which will all happen next week. It's only test fitting in the picture below. Yes it really does need cleaning badly I also fitted one of the new ID-Workz fenders. So easy to fit, drill the marked holes out and pop them on. I'm pleased with the job my supplier did with these. As you can see the new wheels are also fitted, as is the suspension. The engine is also now rocking an Exedy Ceramic plate clutch and a Powerflex rear mount. More coming soon. Idrees
  15. I've finally rotated the TD05 and attached it to manifold/downpipe. It's ready to fit to the car now, however the TD04 water pipes don't fit so I need some new ones, any suggestions? A couple of tester pictures. I've also got a polished inlet manifold ready to go on, and a polished fuel rail. The fuel rail will be fitted with the 550cc injectors though, after the engines run in. Once that's bolted on, it's just the timing belt that needs fitting before getting the engine running. There's no rush at all though as this car isn't going to see the road until the weather gets better.
  16. That one looks good but the rear OEM lip really doesn't fit the bill.
  17. ;) That looks terrible, so sorry to see this Ste but glad that you're not injured badly mate.
  18. Looks horrible. The exhaust looks like a HKS Hi-Power or maybe even a Fujitsubo Power Getter
  19. Looks stunning Zac!
  20. Glanza - Greddy oil cooler, Race-tech TD05 kit, radiator, 98 spec fogs, FMIC pipes, short shifter and the battery which is relocated there. GT - Japspeed exhaust, filter relocation kit, Hks Ssqv and a spare wheel. All waiting to be fitted of course
  21. Interested in the engine, price dependent.
