  1. Just seen this in the metal this morning, very nice indeed! What did you pay for those rims?
  2. Thanks Phil
  3. Hehe thank you!
  4. Yeah Gee its fine for me, registered ages ago.
  5. Hehe, yep I've already got my Project SR! Good to hear! Thanks! Yeh all my mates are pretty surprised! There were loads of better shots of yours that was in the bundle of photos i sent them, I don't know why they selected that one!
  6. Finally started on the bumper: Before: After: Cut the number plate holder out to get it all smoothed. Also fibreglassed an aluminium sheet in place of the fog light holes. Its the way a professional has told me to go about it for it to be really strong.
  7. Very nice. Are they the same as mine? I'm pretty sure they are!
  8. 6200 from what I've heard but I've seen my brother taking his to 6500 in the cold. (On the old engine)
  9. Bourkey what time you looking to arrive home?
  10. I think somebody should do what I've done with the pics from the Bluewater meet next week. Send them to Banzai and write about it!
  11. Your right, i was pretty sleepy this morning!
  12. This is what the text reads: Despite being just 15 years of age, a young lad names Idrees is already making his mark on the colourful Japanese car scene that we love so much. Idrees seems particularly fascinated with Toyota's little Starlet, although the fact that his brother owns an SR model probably has something to do with it. In fact, so enthusiastic for the little Starlets is Idrees that he's become a regular on both the www.toyotagtturbo.com and www.ukstarletclub.com forums and recently took it upon himself to organise a meet in the West Yorkshire area. Having not seen many Starlets locally, Idrees only expected ten or so cars to turn up but thought it might still be a good oppirtunity for forum members to meet and swap ideas and experiences. As is goes, 21 examples attended the Huddersfield meet despite the weather casting doubts on the whole event; owners braved the elements and moved the meet to a local covered car park in Leeds. Attendees were then able to have a snoop around the other cars present and perhaps gain some inspiration. Two sleeper Starlets were shown, packing GT-Turbo 4E-FTE engines, as did a Tom's kitted Starlet GT-Turbo and Livesports kitted Glanza. A number of renditions boasted bhp figures in to the 200s thanks to uprated Turbo setups while a few SR models, including Idrees' brother's provided some inventively styled Starlets to the shindig. The above clubs often have a presence at a number of Japanese car-related events and shows, so if you own a Starlet, or are thinking about investing in one, why not log on and have a browse? Other solely-Starlet meets are in the pipeline, so don't miss out.
  13. Thanks for the comments every, i'm well chuffed myself! Sparky it wasn't an official Banzai meet, it was an official Idrees's meet! And if want to see what i look like, look on the previous page at the 'official' Banzai meet. We also went to that. I'm abit left from the centre, blue stripey top!
  14. Like i said on MSN, sorry for destroying your plans. Somebody offered it to me and i couldn't say no!
  15. WOW! Those look amazing James, worth the wait eh?! Quite reminds me of Gee's Glanza with his old rims! I think it'd look way cleaner if you take off them door strips!
  16. What somebody posted on TGTT:
  17. Little update: Decided not to bother with a respray yet, willing to get it on the road for my dad to drive to work for about a year. I've started painted the wing, but then ran out of paint. Can't afford a brand new, need second hand Tailgate - Found one, need to collect it Passengers door Drivers door mirror OR both Glanza ones with all wiring loom Rear bumper - Getting a free damaged one which I'm going to fix up for my car, OR I'll be buying a Glanza bumper if the seller gives me a good price Thats it for now guys. I know I've not done much but thats because this is the most important time of all my school life - GCSE preparation! Its also because I've been spraying parts for other cars which i need to do for money to spend on my SR.
  18. And then turn to Page 144. Woohoo i'm so chuffed!
  19. Thats smart Faisal bro. The exhaust lets the whole car down though i think, could you not get it fitted so it doesnt hang down like that? Take the Yellow sticks off aswell (I'm picky) and clean the engine bay. Otherwise, very very sexy!!
  20. I personally don't have a clue what they are, actually i thought they were OZ Racing!! I just said Buddy Clubs because you did!!
  21. I have to agree there Rick! Those Buddy Clubs don't look bad, but the Bronze ones that you had on the front would look truly awesome if you had all four!! I know they're hard to get hold of in 15s though...
  22. They might have moved that to keep with the Euro theme? Also, the headlights aren't Black from the inside? I'm sure i've seen no other Glanza like that? Another thing, no bonnet scoop, Glanza S maybe?
  23. Naa, i'm not a fan of either. I don't agree with Euro Style Starlets, but hey, thats just me!
