  1. I hope! Took the wiper off today, just prepping the bootlid, then though f*ck the wiper so just did this! The bootlid will be all smooth with just the Glanza plate surround Took the brake light out of the window too, because they don't come with Glanzas!
  2. Welcome to the house!
  3. Them wheels are awesome! They'll suit the V so well! Nice buy And Recaros you say? Yummm
  4. The Corolla G6 gearbox is a good upgrade but pretty expensive. They're 6 speed but I think the first 2 ratios are the same. Check the Classifields, theres one up F/S now. As for the intake, the Corolla inlet manifold is a really good upgrade. Found in the 4EFE Corolla 98 onwards You could relocate your filter to stop heat soak which may affect performance that little bit, and a custom made de-cat pipe would allow the engine to breathe better too. Also, you've posted in the wrong section!
  5. So am I @Mikey I'm not always like this about things.. Its just that its a full car respray and can't be changed with a click of a finger so I better get it right the first time! (I'm not like Baz!!)
  6. Sounds good, looking forward to it
  7. Ouch thats really bad news^^

    Convoys

That may be a possibility Rob, we'll sort something closer to the date as we'll be coming down that way
  9. My 14s rub like mad Maybe because the offset is ET45!
  10. Just looked at some more photos and it looks real goldy in some photos.. I'd need to see it in reality to judge it properly Stuck to this colour now anyway: The paint should be here next week some time
  11. In two words, Black Beauty You should be proud mate you've got one beautiful SR!!
  12. The paint you have should be fine
  13. 1) Because you said boost I guess your planning on fitting a Turbo to the 4EFE? IF yo do this, you'd need to run it at low boost ie. 6 psi, otherwise you'd probably blow your internals. People tend to get the full 4EFTE engine found in the Starlet GT/Glanza instead of fitting a turbo to the N/A engine, because you can run more boost at standard and its generally a more safe thing to do! It also will cost you approximately the same amount on money! 2) Sorry I've never heard of MegaSquirt so can't help you on that one 3) I guess you'd achieve the 100 bhp mark with the said modifications - Get
  14. I'd leave the strips on for now, and make up my mind about them when the new wheels are on
  15. Nice pics Bourkeys looks as good as ever, Gaz's looks smart (needs an import reg plate ) and Tommy's looks sweet - It'll look miles better once its lowered!
  16. The stripping started today! All sound deadening out! I'm planning on respraying all the interior and fitting some fresh soundproof sheeting New panel needs to be welded on to replace this, which I'm gonna try to get done tomorrow! Only the bonnet, bootlid, doors and windscreen need to be taken off before I start preparing the bodywork for the new paint. Theres also 3 dents to deal with - b*stards!

    brakes

You do know a brake conversion would be pretty expensive? I'm sure its about £1k!! I'd only go down that route if your planning on running BIG power, otherwise I'd go for some decent discs, pads and braided lines Dave Burwash sells the replica Tom's kit, check it out here!
  18. So which one you think i should go for?!
  19. Got my eyes set on another colour, what do you guys think of this? Its a pearlscent though, so costs a fair bit more.. But if it'll look really good then why not?!
  20. You paid a fair price, but you got a beauty!
  21. Looks smart, needs a clean though!! Them rims don't look as bad as I thought they'd look on a Glanza actually!
