  1. Thanks. If its getting misty all you need to do is seal it again! Stikkaflex will do the job perfectly! It would be great if you could PM me with the things i might need to fit them or things to look out for!! ;) Thanks
  2. Yayyy, just ordered some Reflets ;) :D
  3. Ahh i see, well my dad wasnt going round corners at speed so they were ok for him. Suppose its a lil different for you guys!
  4. Yeo blowtorch will be perfect, we would have used that but it seemed to have gone for a walk somewhere! And i agree, looks so much better minus slats!
  5. Damn Ecks them are REAL JDM!!^^
  6. Is a nice guy with a nice Starlet ;)
  7. What you do is... Cut the slat our with a blade or whatever, but not right at the end of it. Like 3/4mm from the edge. Then get a flat metal piece or something of the sort and heat it like mad. I mean very very hot. Then press the 3/4mm thats left from the slat on the bumper with it. Will be flat, just how ya want it to be!! It might need a touch of paint over it afterwards but its not necessary! Hope it helps! P.S -- When we was doing the SR's, we set up a garden fire with cardboard and wood JUST to heat up the metal rod, the SR's bumpers got to be perfect! ;)
  8. Is planning on Sprayin his brake callipers Matt Black, or he already has done so?
  9. lol i did think the Corsa GSI's would race the SR but i was abit shocked when my brother said he stayed in front. but as i said it was wet. Never raced a Nova GSi though!
  10. OH my god i think ive just cried more than you mate ;) But as they say, when you bump a car its an easy path to modify it even more. Wish you the best of luck with sorting her out, can't wait to see it done!
  11. Finally!! Well, after all that nagging to my brother about taking the install out (although i made this install myself hehe), hes taken it out! Its up for sale but i don't think any of you will be interested as its quite heavy for a Starlet. Pounds like mental though, the majority of the plastic trims in the car are all loose from that bass! The Best Bit!: The GT engine should now be in earlier than planned, as we should have a few more hundred put towards it once this is sold! Heres a pic anyway: Shit, just remembered its near christmas time so may not be the best time to stick it on eb
  12. Lol maybe we would too, but might be abit pricey like £400. £350ish would be ok.
  13. Why are they mega expensive compared to 18s? Im not recommending 16s on a Starlet but my dad got some good 16" low profiles for his Civic which lasted him, cost £43 each.
  14. The first time i saw it was in Banzai, before i even knew about this site. Yours car looked awesome to me and my brother back then, i think that was the reason we started modding my dads sportif a little, and then bought the SR.. ;) P.S -- Wanting to spray the SR's bonnet the same colour as you had urs, and with some white decals on. Looks fantastic!
  15. Hi could somebody show what a black bonnet willl look like, maybe with a few white stickers on it like Scutch's old n/a It would also be cool to see a carbon one, even though they havnt been made!
  16. Yup 15s but locals seem to think theyre 16s when they see them.
  17. Lol whos David Coulthard? I know GSI's are fast cars, so it must have admittedly been a shit driver. He thought the SR was a 1.6 though, but when my bro told him it was 1.3 he got a bit of a shock!
  18. So what about another one in Yorkshire?
  19. Lol only sometimes. Thats because when i go and about out with him he doesnt bring me home till like 3 hours later, then i miss revision for time for exams etc so hes not got the best influence on me! I like the car most when its in the garage, so i can get modding!
