My mates got one in his garage which i might buy. He sed its from a Mk1/Mk2 cant remember which is which, but its the small old ones, C reg. He was saying its about 112 bhp but somebody on TGGT said its 150bhp..

What power/performance difference? Ive heard the 5EFE isnt much different form the 4EFE..

Well i'm planning on changing the engine in my SR in the coming months, i would have gone for the 4-EFTE but someone tells me to put a 1600cc GTI engine from the Mk2 Toyota MR2. They say its straight forward to fit, but i don't think it would be. Has anybody done this conversion before? What are the tuning capabilites on both the 4-EFTE and the MR2 1600?

Also, is there any other engines that people have fitted in to the Starlet, apart from things like the 3SGTE as thats too much for me!

They was on ebay with starting bid of £30, i told the guy i'd collect them if he ended auction early so i went and picked them up the same night. He couldn't find one centre cap so gave them for £25! Then i picked up the spray sandpaper etc. for about £16 lol...

I might be selling my exhaust mate full system with 4.5" slash cut tail pipe if your interested. All fine working order but too loud for the neighbours, its got a tuner fitted in now but sounds awesome without it. I don't think its illegal though..

2 of my cousins have GT's, one is an Auto

They havent properly raced yet, but they say the Auto will leave the Manual on take off/straight line. But the manual is better at corners as you can drop gear etc...

Thats a sweet one, i really like the Corsas that have been done properly aswell.

There was a Red Corsa like this one, black wheels and a carbon bonnet. Lined up with it in my cousin's Swift GTI thats runnin about 130bhp, and the Corsa was about 2 car spaces in front.

Stopped him after the race, he had a 2L Red-Top from an Astra GSI with a few bits and bobs done to it. He claimed it was runnin 170bhp.

Trying to get one with low mileage is the thing i'd look out for.
