I always thought it drove like an LSD but never had a way of telling! Should have charged you a damn sight more if I had known!!! Glad to see she's being put to good use. While you're doing work on it I'd recommend you do the valve clearances, make it sound sweet Getting my Integra in about a month so I'll pop through to Hull and show off when I do

Gentleman, Sorry for the delays replying! I've been at sea for a while. In my absence a lot of bits have been gone to help another starlet back on the road (see SHEDLET build thread http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=49479&hl=shedlet&fromsearch=1). The rolling shell will be going to the scrap yard tomorrow: remaining bits are as follows: After-market unbranded steering wheel in good condition (£50) Front Bumper (£40) EBC Front discs (Grilled and dimpled) (£80) EBC Green-stuff front pads (£25) Radiator (£50) HKS Dual Turbo-timer (£offers) Probably a few more bit

Hello all, sorry for the lack of activity & delays! I will be back home on Tuesday (3rd Jan) for a few days and will do a day stripping bits that have been requested probably on Wednesday.

Sorry for the delay in replying everyone! Been at sea & will be for another week or so. Driver's side window motor is available & I only put it in earlier this year as the old one had packed in. If by door switch sensors you mean the little black buttons inside the doors, yep they're available. Passenger window switch also available. I'm away until the 22nd of December, I'm then flying away on the 24th until January 3rd. I'll aim to get these parts out & send them on the 23rd as long as payment can be made. Again, sorry for the delay.

The car is in Flamborough, East Yorkshire. The clocks were converted to miles about 6 months before I bought it. No compression tests.

Engine is good, undamaged & running, could do with a cambelt while its out. Unfortunately I don't have the tools to remove it but anyone who does is welcome to come & take it while its on the drive, same for the gearbox. Unsure about the aero kit, it is as shown so if anyone can identify what's on it that would be great. The wheels are un-branded & came on the car, they were made in Japan and are universal fit (8 stud holes). Come with a pair of Continental PremiumContact2 that did around 8,000 miles on the back (nearly new, loads of tread) & a pair of Avon ZV-3s that were on

Is the 0800 meet on the M4 only for people showing cars?

Now that is exciting! I'm sure when I was under it doing the oil the other day they both span the same way when I span the driver's side Will have another check tomorrow. Thanks

Bit of advice if you please. The GT I just bought was advertised as an Advance which apparently had an LSD as an optional extra. Is there an easy way to tell if it has it? Thanks
-
Got to agree, with 73bhp as standard, there is no need for an uprated clutch Temptation is there but there are better places to spend the money
-
I'm probably wrong but I think its 23/30 for ABS and 23/23 for none-ABS
-
Just had mine off, and on the N/A there is no Cir-Clip, just a spring clip, easiest thing is to take the whole shaft off, get it in a vice and whack it until the outer CV comes off

Yeh fair point, I put bubble wrap on and then wrapped tape around it so hopefully it will hold, but I have an eye on it. If anyone does this let me know what you think to the sound difference.

Read somewhere about this resonator box just next to the air-box, simply there to make the car run a little quieter when the throttle is wide open. Sorry, I didn't take a picture before removing it. It was simply attached with a clip, remove said clip and yank off the empty plastic box. Using an old breather filter I had lying about (these cost around £5) from my old 206 (urgh, bad times), packing it out with some bubble wrap and black tape and then fixing with a jubilee clip. All done, gives your baby an extra whole to breathe through, and makes a little more noise

Nice one thanks! Dimensions sound much better now I've actually measured the old one! How come K&N website says the 96-99 Starlets need a different filter? :S
-
Has anyone fitted a K&N Panel Filter? I ordered a 33-2094, which is what K&N say will fit a '98 1.3i and, well, it doesn't! Mine is an SR but I didn't think the Air Box would be any different. Anyone know if there is another K&N panel that would fit? Thanks

This is looking great so far! I am definitely trying for an EP95 next! What happened to those Corolla wheels that you sprayed black? I'm interested and tempted!
