im runnig out of ideas , ive got new cables , and stil the wheel spins so i just fancy crying lol

if i had more then £30 to get the car sorted in less then a week i recon id be ok about it lol but atm im in overdrive/panic mode but cheers daz ill try it , and if the pistons fine and cables are fine then ill have to change pads n discs and then if it still dont GAME OVER lol

ughaah buggah lol well its beating me to the point of a breakdown and crying ! lol if the piston moves in and out then the caliper is ok if the piston does nothing a new caliper ?

well on the handbrake bit is a tiny bit of metal and i had to bend it so i was in a mood and ripped it all out ! weight reduction ya see haha well the right side is brand new , now the front bit will be brand new , left side is only a year old i dont get why the handbrake wasnt making the right wheel any harder to turn i wish there was a rear brake upgrade lol

you have to to get that lil piece of wire off cause it has a big piece of metal on one end that cant be pulled through the hole ? did i not have to ? lol

ok so its that time of year once again and BANG this happens a MASSIVE FAIL nearside front (front bush marked with yellow chalk) suspension arm has excessive play in a pin/bush **DANGEROUS** nearside rear shock absorber has a serious fluid leak Offside rear shock absorber has a serious fluid leak offside rear fog lamp (easy fix) nearside registration lamp (easy fix) offside rear parking break recording little or no effort parking break efficiency below requirements *************advisorys************** nearside rear rear wheel bearing ( wheres this ? ) has slight play offside front rear wheel bearing ( wheres this ? ) has slight play mid to back box exhaust has a minor leak both front tyres are wearing o/s/r tyre has damage to side wall so i set about getting it sorted , i brought a new handbrake cable , picked up some shocks off a mate and some nice new polyurethine bushes for the wishbones put the new cable on and the wheel still spins so i was slightly pissed off , tried to tighten the cable , 3 resolutions and this happens now im 90% sure if after ive replaced this lil cable the caliper is seized im sorry to say the car is being broke but on a positive side these turned up wahoooo aint updated in a while and when i do its all bad news :'(

right so in the last year ive had to have 3 rear calipers , 2 handbrake cables and i still cant get the fooking handbreak to work i jacked the car up and put the hand break on left wheel perfectly solid right wheel (new cable) still free moving , if you look at the handbreak part on the caliper it pulls the cable etc and it looks like its working yet the wheel still spins freely does this mean the calipers fooked ? cause i seriously cant be arsed to buy another caliper replace buy more fluid bleed the breaks etc i also tightend the cable to see if that would help 1 turn , nothing 2 turns nothing 3rd turn this ...... the cable snapped , im going to replace this and if the handbrake still aint working i will be breaking the car any ideas on if its the caliper ? i really cant see it being this tiny piece of cable

i hate these cars lol is there a better make of rear breaks so i dont get this problem every year lol ?

if i do it up tight tight will it not cause the handbrake to be on all the time n rub?

i took the old cable off put the new cable on lol ? so i need to losen the cable in the handbrake area then un attach both hand brake cables , wind the calipers in , then pump the brake pedal then once thats all good attach the handbrake cable and tighten inside the cabin ? how do i know how much to tighten it too?

ok so today i brought a new hamdbrake cable ive fitted it parked on a hill put my handbreak on and its stil making a creaking noise and rolling back ? any ideas why ? im really losing my tether these brakes are like chocolate an break all the time
