its the 17mm captive nut n bolt may need some cutting and welding into the chassis etc , i need to try find a garage to do it but they all mainly quick fit n national crappy garages etc lol

caliper can wait lol gotta massive wishbone problem

ive tried a couple of garages that r open and there not willing to cut the chassis etc i hate norwich

is anybody out there able or willin to help/do this for me

so they can give me a bolt to use instead of the captive nut thing?

where did u get a bolt from toyota? so ya reckon i shud just hacksaw the bolt and hope the wishbone drops out? will a new one screw in ok though cause if the capnuts screwed im screwed ? no ?

we had a pry bar in behind it and i was pulling and my mate was on the impact gun still wouldnt budge i reckon its been threaded or bodged at some point , i cant make the return shorter as its slightly offset by like 2cm so it makes a kink at the top of the oil return

i reckon i could only get to one side of the bolt the other side is hidden , ill pay a garage haha they can struggle i been on it all day lol

yup , i tried to hold the bush but stil no luck , any ideas on the oil feed that pipe is like 10mm thick!

right todays task was to change both wishbone bushes , started with the side that failed the mot , undid the anti lift kit no problem undide the thing on the end of the wishbone no problem then just the last 17mm bolt that holds the wishbone on , tried to undo it with a wrench etc it spins n spins but wont come out tried it with an impact gun , still nothing so we tried the other side and it came out in seconds i think the bolts thread has stripped , so tried to pull it out no luck !! any ideas what to try next? bolt marked in yellow so then while being under the car i thought id check things and found this my oil feed from td04 to sump has ripped !! also now a problem again any ideas?? cheers brothers from other mothers

right car is still not mot worthy but i am going to my mates tomoz as he has more tools then me so we are guna and i mean guna do the wishbones then its just the caliper left , its been rainy everyday last week so i havent had time i am 100% not breaking the car and i still love it lol also i got a new job so now im not gettins paid peanuts so more mods, more power and more luxaries will be building up month by month again ;) this project will hit 220-230 by end of this year atleast
