  1. Cheers mate... and yes it is would recommend your kits to anyone
  2. LOL because the bracket holding it snapped and i havent got around to sorting it
  3. Yes u are correct however it is not as effective as using the vacum from the inlet and its illegal.
  4. No because you are still venting pressure through the pvc valve as normal and the secondary breather. Its basically like the stock breather setup but with a catch can to stop unwanted vapours going back in the inlet.
  5. Totally agree. When people vent to the atmosphere the pressure in the crankcase is suppost to be enough to draw the vapours into the can... thats the theory anyway. IMO the only way to plumb in a catch can is inbetween the pcv valve and the inlet... nothing venting to atmosphere. Many people have different opinions to me tho
  6. Was the first nice day for a while today so me and some mates cleaned the cars and headed out to get some pics before dark Hope u like. And a group photo
  7. Im not saying this is the right way to do it, However it the option that many people choose.
  8. Think there has been some confusion, as ForgedV said you would only gut the pcv valve if venting to atmosphere. Obviously if venting back in to the intake then it would not be touched.
  9. Sorry buddy but im not quite understanding what your saying. Are you saying that when fitting a catch can you disregard the pcv valve completely?
  10. Not strictly true, the pcv valve only opens under vacum... so if u have a catch can that connects to the breather + the pcv valve and is then vented to atmosphere then there is no vacum to open the pcv valve. so it stays closed all the time. Thats why u gut it
  11. Imo still not the most effective way but yeah will work fine as long as pcv valve is gutted
  12. The way ForgedV has his setup will do no damage the engine in any way, i dont think its the most effective but certainly wont damage anything. The only way you will damage something is if u have both rocker cover breathers ( breather+pcv valve) Going to a cath can that is NOT vented. This will pressurise the crankcase which is bad news.
  13. This method will work fine as long as the pcv has been gutted.
  14. Mate your spot on, and if raz has no breather on that catch can he needs one asap.
  15. Very strange indeed... I would be very carefull with your right foot whilst driving mate until u diagnose the problem, even tho its been reduced to 0.9bar thats still far too high for a completely standard glanza.
  16. Are you sure your not just getting used to the power? Same thing happened to me, i was sure there was something wrong with my glanza because it felt slower than when i got it... turns out the car was totally fine, its just i was used to the speed so it didnt seem as fast. I think that made sense lol
  17. Yeah do that mate, If your not too busy ill have a nosey around your GT lol Im a total slut when it comes to starlets lol
  18. Ahh i see, well if i see u again ill give a wave
  19. I didnt see u mate, otherwise i would have flashed the crap out of you lol I dont see many starlets around stirling so when i do i go crazy lol
  20. Thanks buddy Are u from around stirling or just visiting?
