  7. Mostly took it as it came mate, obviously we had a few places that we wanted to do/see but mostly just went with the flow lol AWESOME!!!!
  8. It was my mate that planned most of it ( he had done something similar before ) We planed a route before we left hitting all the places we wanted, and using google maps to give us an indication of the length of drive each day. We then pre-booked all the hotels. That way we knew exactly where we were sleeping each night and didnt have any crap running around trying to find hotels in foreign places. It also meant all accommodation was payed for months before the trip and we didnt need to have extra cash for this, also pre-booked the euro tunnel to make sure all the cars got on the same train. Ev

  12. Not too sure mate, I spent roughly £1300ish on petrol alone but i did a lot of miles, and using campsites instead of hotels would save alot too! I think for 1k u could have a very good tour around France mate.
  13. Cheers mate I dont have a thread for my car but heres a couple of links to some pics of her. Sadly the livesport front bumper had to come off for the holiday, ruins the look of the car but its far too low and would come back in pieces. http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....c=40672&hl= http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index....c=43184&hl=
  14. I think everyone should try something like this! It was an unbelievable experience. All in all ie petrol, hotels, eurotunnel, tolls, and all the other crap u end up spending it was around the £3000 mark. Its a lot of money but once in a lifetime thing and totally worth it. Driving on the wrong side of the road wasnt actually that bad... u get used to it. I was more worried about the drivers than the road. there are some crazy ass drivers over there lol
  15. Just back yesterday from a 2 week Euro trip with the Glanza and 4 other mates. Was amazing the things i seen in such a short space of time. The car ate up the miles with no problem at all and also done 20mins around the Nurbugring gp track. The Looks the car got was awesome, I guy in italy actually stopped in the middle of the road to get out and take a pic of the car Its a great feeling. So anyways This is what happened- Cars - CRX Del Sol, Glanza, Nissab S13 & 350z. Miles - 5000+ circa. Route - Scotland - Eurotunnel - Nurburgring - Luxemburg (cheap tank of petrol) - Black Forest - Sw
  16. Hey, im currently in the process of fitting a civic radiator to my glanza. My problem is that i have a zisco style externally gated manifold (ramhorn) where the external wastegate is located at the bottom of the car and the wastegate is fouling the bottom radiator hose! I can get it on just, but it touches the waste gate. Would this melt the radiator hose? If so how do people with similar setups to mine get around this problem? Cheers.
  17. Welcome. Nice looking V there mate.
  18. Bought a rear strut brace from ali1710. strut is exactly as described, excellently wrapped and was very quickly delivered. Top man to deal with!!!! cheers again mate
  19. I use a catch can to try help prevent oil vapours entering the intake via the pcv valve. Why do you use one? Im not trying to complicate anything... I fit my can inbetween the pcv valve and the intake... simple.
