oh i did have a few problems when fitting the new manifold. one of the injectors sprung a leak and decided to spray a jet of fuel over the engine and road he he. but luckily starletboy was on hand for some much needed advice. cheers dude.

i thought i would pop to my local scrappy on sat to see what i could find and lo an behold there were 2 bug eyed corollas dumped next to eachother. one had a pristeen engine and the other was ok just a tad bent he he. so went to the gate and said to the bloke how much for and inlet manifold off that car. he said just take the one off the dirty engine for 20 quid. im like fuckin sweet , so i set to work and rip it out. take it back to the desk and he says go on you can have it for 15 quid. but i had a credit note from my dad when he took something back to them. so basically i got it for nothing lol. spent a few hours fitting it and damn its fuckin sweet. def feel the difference he he he he he he he he he he he he. everyone should get one!!!!!!!!!!

yeh i told him to kiss my ass lol. gonna pop to my local scrappy this sat. hopefully they have one , i want one boo hoo.

i have sourced one of them from a scrappy but he wants 100 quid posted. do you need anything else apart from just the manifold itself. the throttle bodies still fit from the starlet dont they????

a garage i went to did the same thing with my caliper bolts. if you are still stuggling to find part numbers let me know and i will ask my mate at toyota for it. they are only a couple quid anyways. but if you are changing the broken ones i would swop them all for new ones mate.

weird. dunno where mine is from. i assume the uk. but mine has not e/w pas a/c or sod all but has an air bag i assume dont work lol. anyways pas and a/c use up the hp so no worries he he

well im sure you all heard the story of me hitting the deer. nice summers evening just getting dark driving down a loooooong straight country road, doin the speed limit of course (cough cough). when suddenly a deer leaps from the hedge into my path and stands there. instantly the foot slams down hard on the brake and straight away the wheels lock up. i start skidding and steering ( like everyone says , there is no way im taking me foot off the pedal) manage to slow it down to around 70 ish and get it onto the other side of the road still skidding , and the little f**king c*nt decides its gonna follow me. then BANG i hit it, and my car catapults it straight over the hedge it just jumped out from. i lift off the brake and look down over the hood and think hmmmmm that aint too bad the bonnet was a little bent but hey thats only gonna cost a couple hundred to fix. so i pull up. get out and walk round to the front. and my heart sunk. the whole front left of the car was gone. ended up costing me a grand to repair and i didnt even get to find the deer. the funniest thing is when i first caught sight of the deer, i though oh look at that pretty little deer ( now im thinking C*NT, he he) then a couple weeks ago driving down the motorway thought i would challenge a 2.2 vtec prelude ( ha ha ha i was only messing). got up next to him and he wouldnt let me past. every time i went to go he would floor it so he was really pissing me off. so as we were coming up to a roundabout he slowed down like you should and i thought he he here is my chance so i floored it. got infront and thought yeh i just ruined ya. trouble is i didnt see the slow ass driver infront of me. slammed on the brakes and again they locked up. slid across 2 lanes and straight into a kurd and ruined 2 alloys lol. they dont call me prangers for nothing.
