  1. We will soon see dude, And yeh after i get it all sorted i will go for a dyno run mate, Interested to see what it runs. Worth trying for the sake of £50 and 30mins work of swapping to my TD04 if i dont like it! And currently a KS-Rom ecu, But i believe its been mapped in japan for a larger turbo as its stupidly rich on my CT9 Setup, i cant give it enough air lol, It also ran Broonys TD04 Setup at 1.2 Bar bang on also Will be datalogging with a wideband as i keep turning the boost up to make sure it stays safe, If not i will buy a RRFPR, Also getting it dyno checked to make sure! As always though i will see what its like
  2. Good lad!
  3. The whole point of me going TF035 Is because i live in the country, Up on the north york moors, The ct9 at a bar hasnt got enough torque, And you can tell its stressed to death when under high load etc, While a TD04 Is too laggy and unsuitable. If i threw a load of money at a good CT9 hybrid setup it would cost similiar to what i have ready to go on now! It will be more reliable (Factory turbo, Less boost etc etc) Than a bastardised CT9, And the so called CT9 Hybrids and arent even CT9s anymore, There just BASED on a CT9! I have been in a couple of TD04 equipped starlets, And they just dont make sense to me, Yes they are a quick spooling turbo, but only when there at high boost on a very well setup car, I want full boost at 3k or so, Not 2K like the shitty CT9, And not 4k thereabouts that a TD04 has, in a small light hatch i dont see the point in the small powerband and sudden lump of power (TD04) It will just loose traction (And yes i could drive it and try keep traction, But why make it harder to drive??) Also none of the vf series are quicker spooling than a TD04, there so much bigger its just not possible (We have tried a few turbo setups on our Impreza also) I also chose this kit due to the compatibilty with other turbos for the future if i get bored. Hopefully it will bridge the gap nicely beetween a ct9 and TD04, But we can only try and if its no good i already have a TD04 so i can just swap. No harm in trying In a turbo what is essentially a smaller exhaust housing and slightly smaller compressor housing than on a TD04, It should spool nice and make good power compared to a TD04, Without stressing the engine at full boost (As i have said before why run a big turbo at low boost ) We will see anyway over the next week or so when i get the kit on, Will post info up lads TT
  4. If there rebuilt it makes them a new engine surely? Its all about tolerances and how the engine is designed, A decent fully synth is fine in our engines forged or not, I run fully and even beetween oil changes it doesnt drink ANY, Like zilch, Therefore its not too thin as it never gets used. It also stays clean which means its doing its job! But each to there own...
  5. The wiring should be there somewhere dude, Have a rake about!
  6. Lmaoo morgey that would be quaility
  7. I will let you know how the turbo kit runs, going to datalog the Wideband and see how it goes. Thanks man, And hahaha there fantastic! Cheers, and i am:P Yeh dude im happy i have a room full of car bits! Just to update this, Got the parts yesterday, Coilovers, brace and short shifter are now on... Photos to come when its bright enough lol Car handles fantastic, nice bit of camber dialed in, handles like its on rails, mabye play with the dampening a bit but apart from that im happy TT
  8. As above been looking into this for about 6 months, have a complete TD04 Kit but have a TF035 Turbo instead. Dont see the point in running low boost on a big turbo and have the lag, while i can have a slightly smaller turbo and run it at high to max boost on a standard engine. Keep an eye on my thread for when its fitted and i will put some videos etc up. Ct9 hybrid is okay, But not the most reliable turbos ever going by all the reviews! The auzzies love them, and there sort of rule is 5E=TD04, 4E=TF035 on a standard engine, Just a slighy downscaled tdo4, Same turbo essentially just scaled down.
  9. No worries alex we all have our opinion, hence why im keeping my old ones and cleaning them up, new tyres are needed for it too! And here you go dude, Fantastic stuff me and my dad use it on his 340Hp impreza, Lovely to use and not full of horrible strands.http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Magmawrap-Exhaust-Wrap-50mm-x-1-5mm-x-20-Metres-/261066272388?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3cc8c32e84 I used 30meters and it did my full exhaust decat back Thanks mate, for 280Quid for fresh powdercoated wheels and brand new tyres i couldnt not try them! 13. Get it bought dude! Them advisories are bugger all, front is the only one needed to be done by a garage, packing the rears with grease and adjusting them will be fine, any perished bushes are just an excuse for powerflex. Brakes as above a strip and clean would do it (Piece of piss!) Buy it, and just try the above things to haggle the price. but if he is a mechanic he will probably know there tiny jobs lol
  14. Yeh thanks mate! Did some research, there Ronal R15s, early 90s ronals. Yes retro!
  15. What power are these actually rated too mate?
  16. There deffo evo 8 seats buddy
  17. 32/32 Front and rear Uniroyal rainsport 2s, Tanabe shocks and springs, Cusco upper rear brace and standard front. Car handles well, lots and lots of grip but slightly rolly at times
  18. I know i saw the list and thought fuck haha, and im thinking gold, gunmetal, or white, mabye a flake on them all too. Or not lol. White on white with some track tyres and whitewall writing mabye!
  19. They come with no centre caps they are an option, thats how jdm they are:p and thanks man lol
  20. Its getting slammed when i order my coilovers Mick, then just need some spacers, and they look epic i dont care if there rotas or gola etc Already have 2 pairs of wheels now anyway both genuine too, new ones are ET20! And no broony you asked what wheels i was running when i bought the ecu and i dont think you got what i said, you said urghhh get them off you need proper rims, yet there nearly £1700 from nengun and as genuine JDM yooooo as possible So There You gay
  21. Right i have the wheels and dropped them off at the powdercoaters, BUT I cant decide on a colour, There going on a white 98spec V, Anybody got any ideas? Can have 200+ Colours with the option of metal flake on them also!
  22. We have the ze912s on our scoob mate and there a really good tyre, not quite as good in the wet as the rainsports but close, and there lasting ages!
  23. I want them so badly, regardless of them being a copy or not there fine for cars much heavier on wheels than ours and track cars etc, Would have no problems switching between my JDM YO! Genuine Direzza RSC wheels with these, purely because they look mint!
  24. Thats sucks mate, I would definetely repair it its not serious by the looks of it and the front panel etc are all replaceable anyway, there just tack welded on
