  1. Are the towers or mounts higher in glanza then in n/a???

some photos of my strut bar:

Lovely condition boot;) - I'm not too sure would I ever cut any plastics there!!

not only the alignment is the problem but the hight as well! It's sittin gon the plastic so I'd need to rise the hole bar up? How it comes the glanza has it right?!?

    alignment:

The bottom plate seem to be at strange angle (not level to floor) and hopefully the seat hinge won't be on the way!

Who has it fitted - PLEASE HELP

  2. I'm completely getting your approach for tuning your SR. It's not a glanza so never should be her replica. I'm taking similar direction with my Irish EP91 but struggling with time to fit some parts I have shelved and never built the thread here either...

    Good Luck with further progress!

  3. This is really one of the nicest Starlets I've seen!!!

Keep it simple and as much OEM as possible!

I wish I could put my hands on one of them TTE back boes (or even the tip itself like yor one!) but they seem to be gone from this planet;(

May I ask where did you get the clear front lamps from?

Cheers and again: CLEANEST SR EVER!!

  4. The glanzas have extra mounting plates on the strut tops for the brace that the N/As dont have so as Morgey says the bolt holes would be out.

Hi lads - how do you make the glanza OEM rear strut brace to fit on N/A EP91 so? !PLEASE HELP!

I have bought the 3 point glanza one (price was really good and has all the plastics! just needs painting as it's blue...). The plan was to fit it this X-mas but I didn't know that it won't fit...;(

Regarding the 90deg rotated fittment of top mount (as per photo below):

    - Is it possible to drill another 2 holes (is it enough room there?) on top of each strut tower and bolt it that way?

How is the middle bottom part sitting then against the beam/back seat?

I've found out that glanza has an extra factory bracket there (see the part number 58225-10020 as per pictures below) but I'm sure someone has already done this excercise on N/A EP91 without this part and can tell me would couple of washers or 100x20x20mm(say) steel plate do ?

    Strut tower top:

Center bracket: (I wonder can I order it from local dealer...)

    What I also found this:

    http://austarletclub.com/index.php?/topic/18747-how-to-glanza-rear-strut-brace-in-aus-spec-ep91/

    but I don't think I'd go for re-welding!;(

Cheers and thanks in advance for all the help - I really want to fit this OEM brace instead of selling it and getting cusco..

  5. I have purchased a set of springs from onnaj1000 so want to post my positive feedback:

This lad from Holland is genuine and very honest, I would recommend any dealing with him.

Communication was fast and straigh forward - when I wanted extra pictures, they were emailed the same day.

Seller very concerned about the item getting delivered, stayed in contact all the way, helping to chase the courier etc.

I will not to hesitate to deal with onnaj again!

  6. Nope. But I'm after the stock SR springs and the TTE springs are the stock ones for an SR so if they are the 25MM TTE springs am after a set.

I've got 40mm ones at the mo fitted in Nov just gone but there to low for me fitted before I got the car.

Well I have the rear ones only and if I'm not happy with the drop I'll be looking for a swap for 40mm ones!

But I must be sure what excatly they are first...

  7. Lads - please help!

I am looking for any information and photos of HKS lowering springs for an EP91 Starlet/Glanza.
    They supposed to be 40mm

The similar question was already asked years ago here:

    http://www.ukstarletowners.com/topic/61019-hks-rear-springs/

But I cannot find anything else!

Would anyone know what is their part number? Spring rate value?

I couldn't find anything - there is no record that HKS were even making any lowering springs at all - only the coilovers!!!

Someone said on this forum that they are rebranded teins... But tein has no 40mm springs available for starlet so I'm not sure can it be true..

What's your knowledge about them HKS springs lads?

Please share any photos of your ride if it's sitting on them HKS springs.

  8. Being a usually very observent person i have recently been shocked (in a good way) by discovering im running hks springs on the rear :0

Google is not being my friend atm so anyone have any info on them??

I know it is very old topic but jax876: DO YOU STILL HAVE THEM HKS springs???

I am struggling to find any information about the HKS springs on internet!

Would anyone know what is their part number? Spring rate value?

  9. Lads - please help:

I am looking for any information about springs with printed number on them: AM 27015

They supposed to be for starlet/glanza - these ones on photos I own are rear and have AM 27015 HA number on them (I presume the fronts would have AM 27015 VA...)

Any idea what brand they are and are they for an EP91 for sure?? How much they lower?

Does anyone have one of these fitted or came across them?
