  1. Vf35 with a plug and play! Have you had it checked?

    Wouldn't run a plug and play on a ct9 never mind a vf35. Madness!

yes it is checked and it works ...2 years now without breaking in high compression

The only thing that i did it is to add an emanage to change the i/j and ign table (litle change)

  2. Hey guys,

I recently bought a Sard Analyse P&P ecu and according to my AEM wideband I'm fueling a 10 on full boost which is too rich, also might I mention that idling is 14.8-15.

For engine mods I have the following, Aeromotive rrfpr, decat, FMIC, JAM actuator, 2.5inch exhaust, pretty much all the basics. I'm also boosting 1 bar.

I have set the rrfpr to 2.4 bar, but anything I do, the ecu keeps fueling a perfect 10. I have also tried resetting the ecu but nothing happens.

Any tips I can do here guys?

    Anything is appreciated :)

    Hi

as all p&p ecu , they tend to go richer to 10 afr or 10.5 afr ...in fact they can drive the injectors with more % than stock ecu

Doing 10 is not saying that you are not making power ,if you want to get something near 11 or 11.5 you have to up the boost until you will read your desire target boost, and you will reach the limit of correction too

  3. My glanza runs very hot On my temp gauge when im stationary after a 15mins my temp reads from 80 to 95-100 degrees

If im cruising the engine temp stays on 78.

Ive had to fit another fan infront of the rad connected to a switch inside of my car that i switch when its running hot.

The engine does not lose coolant and the fan kicks in on time but its still very hot.

    Ive changed the thermostat.

What can be causing the engine to run at such high temp.

    Thanks

Did you check your AFR at idle??

i'm going to recommend something a bit different from everyone so far

i've used this for about 6 years now...it's easy to install, set up and is very stable. its a well built unit with a ton of features (just like some of the above)

i've had my fair share of trying to help friends set up blitz, greddy, apexi, etc...but this is my choice and i never regretted it

    http://www.turbosmartdirect.com/Product-Categories/e-Boost2/eBoost2-60mm-Black.html

click the details, applications tabs to get some brief info

comes in 60 and 66mm sizes in various color combinations

Hey Gorgan ,you forgot to say that this EBC is very quick (+to be stable),a lot of EBC are slower than MBC ...

  5. Right I have removed the alarm completely today and I've still got the exact same problem...

    No fuel

    No spark

    No eml on

    No oil pressure light on

    Turns over but wont start

So obviously the alarm wasn't the issue as that was removed the efi relay has been replaced so it wasn't that and like I said I done the diagnostic test on the pump and it runs fine so obviously the pump is ok

Any ideas as to what it could be? Someone must know

check relay... or a general fuse in the engine bay

It can't be the pump though mate because when I do the test it primes perfect and I get fuel pressure it's only when I turn the key it doesn't so I know the fuel pump works fine :/

do you hear the starter working ?

  6. they dont work.i paid 190 quid for one brand new. red the instructions and followed setup etc etc and it just kept over boosting continuously.

now I have a high quality mbc that cost 19.99 and its perfect and hits same boost each and every time.put me right of buying any ebc.

mbc may not be as efficient as ebcs but they work consistently and dont break.

not really , when you said "mbc may not be as efficient as ebcs", for me the better spool is on mbc ... but you do not have some feature like :boost alarm etc or rpm/boost ...that is all .. some mbc are bad , and some mbc are good ,,,but mbc do the job easily...

And i am very very agree with you about Gizmo ebc , a very waste of time !!!

  7. i have bought a lot of EBC and find some different problems with them :

-AVCR, very difficult for a newbee to tune and not very stable ( YES, you have to fit a 10cm boost gauge and see the needle a litle flutering ... AUTO MODE is not so bad but better than the E01) )

-Greddy profec B2, not so stable like the AVCR but tune is more easy

-Greddy old profec B and greddy Type S, very easy and good results for a newbie (more stable than the AVCR)

-Greddy e01, one of the best for me , very easy to tune and stable (AUTO MODE is very very bad and dangerous !!!)

-BLITZ ID3,very very stable ,and easy to tune , but a litle slower to build boost both in manual or auto mode

-New Blitz ,stable but SLOW (the more slower ...)

-HKS EVC series, believe me or not , but i have fitted the evc5 and the newest ,all are building boost earlier (150-350 rpm ) .Fitted in my Mazda turbo , and i see the difference , not sure if the difference will be on our 4e/5e series ...

-Turbosmart dual stage (very very good !!! and easy to set up ...litle spike )

As you can see , there is not the best controller in the market ,all depend of:

-your tuner ( a good tuner , knows a good ebc or mbc to tune your car ) and it is better to folow him

-the lenght of the cable influence the sensitivity or spike

    -temperature ...

    my choice:

    1/HKS EVC 5 or 6 (monney ?)

    2/turbosmart dual stage

    3/greddy e01

    why ?? they are quicker
