I've done a total of 160 miles in my car, my engine has to come out for the third time and i also had to buy a new turbo, as well as the engine rebuild. I think your problems are minor compared to that, keep it and sort it

Well they refused to work on the engine in the car. So, when it failed the first tme I had to take the engine back out and put it back in myself. They have now offered to let me take the car down, so I will arrange towing it there and see how it goes. They are a prescision engineering company, so not a garage as such. Thanks, I will see what happens and if not go to tradign standards.

They blamed my pump failing on contamination which they said was caused by the turbo, and they fixed it as a 'good will gesture' my newly reconditioned turbo was no more, due to their shoddy work... And I will be looking at trading standards, they are a reputable company but have been nothing but bad work and really bad attitute

Well, I bought the car with beg ends gone.. Took it to them, got it rebuilt and put engine back in car.. 160 miles later head gasket went. They wouldn't work on it on the car, so I had to do a HG myself as I couldn't be bothered to take the engine out. Did that, started it up and it was really smokey. Oil pump had bust, and knackered my turbo. So got ont he phone and after goign on and on they eventually agreed to look at the engine. Took it out, they blamed it on turbo contaminating the oil pump or something which was load of crap. So, they fixed that I got new turbo and put it all togeth

managed to get a tow however oil pump isnt sealed and it's pissing oil out, back to the people who rebuilt it for the third time now!!!

Might have to resort in driving it if I can't get a tow

It's got up to the downpipe on... Neighbours will be fine LOL Need to know it runs, as I am towing it to get exhaust done but won't be able to get it back without driving it so need to know it all runs first

Right, my exhaust isn't quite finished, but I have just got a new turbo and my engine has been rebuilt. Can I start my car without the exhaust on or can this cause problems? I have done it on my N/A cars but not sure on turbo'd cars? Craig

Yeh mate, I have the latest version. It may be a compatability issue, but could possibly be a fix for it too. Depending if it is just this forum, just with a certain mod/hack the forum has etc.

For some reason though, it only shows sometimes. IThere is a part in the code which can add the remember me button for when it has logged you out, and for the login on the left. But it is also possible the cause of logging out is the cookie settings of the forums are set to expire after X time. Regarding the reason of this thread, not being able to type I would say it is defenitly code related. Let me know if you want me to take a look. Craig

I understand, I am not saying he isn't going to do anything about it. I at first, suggested I thought they would do nothing, but after his reply I accepted they would. P.S - Regarding the issue I had with the remember me, is there any chance we could get a remember me button added to the login part? I will hapily do this for you, if you wish. My firefox, seems to have a problem with the cookies when there is no remember me button and it logs me out all the time. I need to login 4 times to read this thread, it doesn't happen with other sites as it has remember me button. Thanks Craig

Well, your reply could have been something more along the lines of... Thanks for reporting this, I am sure Geo will look at it as soon as possible, but in the mean time you could use G Chrome as a work around. As your reply, to me sounded like you were just not bothered about it being fixed. Also, the thread I made about 'Remember Me' it didn't happen to you, and it got left. You will see where I am coming from. And I am Microsoft qualified in IT, and have other qualifications like CompTIA A+ etc, but that's all irrelivent. I have ran and owned many forums in my time as well as had my own

There is loads of bugs on the forum. To me it seems like admin couldn't give a fuck, as long as they don't have the problem.

Shite reply that. Firefox is used by loads, look into the error and fix it.
