  1. What top mounts did you go for in the end?

There are some KYB rear ones on ebay which I am going to order! I have used the originals on the front! Need to replace the rear ones at the same time as the shocks and springs!

    Looks great! :)

Thanks man! Lots of time and money going into this despite not being turbzzz yet!!

This car may become a weekend toy in the summer and be purely a hobby if I can get my hands on a good honda crz! If so the ep70 will be converted to either 4age with a supercharger or 5efte.

The local scrap yard was trying to sell me a 3sge engine the other day?

  2. Sounds promising! Need to spread the word guys!

I only live 45-55 mins from Alton towers so for me it's a breeze to get there! Maybe meet somewhere first so we can convoy onto the car park!!!

There is a big b&q warehouse about 20-30 minutes from there with a good size car park to meet on!!

  3. After having a look through the forum I very much like the idea of an Alton towers day!

Really nice and central in the country! A real bring your partners kinda meet! Some fairly nice roads around that neck of the woods too!

Shout out if your interested in doing this the first weekend in June!!

  4. Car is now booked in on Monday for some pretty vital work!

4 new wishbone bushes, 2 cv boots and a front wheel bearing!

To go with the lovely new suspension I will be ordering new top mounts just so that there is nothing left to go wrong! (And to make fitting so much faster)

Also on Wednesday the car is taking a little trip to a place called unique exhausts! For a manifold back stainless system, no cat and only one box with either 2 or 2.5 inch pipe!

Will post the results as soon as I know how good or bad they are!!

  5. There's 2 different size bushes for the front wishbones.

    31 and 34mm

I think later cars had the 31mm and early gt's had the 34mm so you would need to check to see what your 70 has really. That or order both and sell the set you don't need?

brilliant thanks buddy, will look into that!

  6. hi all

at the age of 28 my starlet is in need of some more loving!

many of the suspension bushes are...... knackered

i have been led to believe that ep80 and 90 bushes for the front wishbones, rear axle and rear torsion bar will fit!

is this true! the ones for the ep70 are now discontinued and im struggling to get them

i dont want to spend £305 on a complete set of powerflex ones to be fair.
