dont apologise guys!! im losing love for the wheels very rapid!! i need something more retro just spending all my money on tech (phones, tablets pc's!!) and an engine and 2 wings and maybe 2 rear quater panels and maybe a front valance!!! ouch!!!! all this while taking out a new gf is a mean feat on my wage!!!!

13mpg and not enough power for hills, plus the constant worry of the battery being charged cause the alternator is on the fritz!!!!!

luckily your engine will mean a new coil carb and alternator to get it sweet again and it gives me a second engine to get looking hot!!

and for the clubs info i have been looking into removing the tints and every sticker on it..... i have looked at coilovers, jdm rims and the possibility of a clear bonnet when my engine bay is 100% perfect!!!!!

If you ever convert yours series70boy then this should make it a doddle for you

god yeah!!!! but i wont go turbo, when i go for a big conversion it will be 4age!!!

and as of the 28th i will be the owner of a 1e engine!!!!! i am gonna take the carb, coil and alternator off it to get mine running well enough for now......

after that i am gonna rebuild the new 1e engine right down to the bottom end and get it looking factory fresh over the next 2 years..... during the next 12 months i am gonna be drastically overhauling the exterior of the car maybe taking it straight back to standard so its just minty fresh!!!!

hopefully the rebuilt engine and body will make for a perfectly clean car!!!!!!

either 650kg or 750kg, those are the weights on my plate under the hood!!! i rekon its 650 actually cause i can lift it to the top of the suspension with a little assistance from mates!!! i have spoken to an owner who lost his jack and when e got a puncture he called 4 of his mates round to lift that corner of the car off the ground and did it!!!

i am not the biggest fan of the wheels, but they look 100% better in the flesh, have given it a lovely wide track from the front and back, and the handling is about 450% better!!!!!

just a nice stop gap until i get some proper jdm wheels!!!!

i took my bonnet off lay it on a curtain and jet washed it!!! then soapy time then jet washed it and waxed it!!!! its filthy again now!!!

Good stuff man get working on it.... They are well worth it, much faster than a standard glanza, I will be getting alot more shots of it up as soon as i can. have you any idea where i could find some arch extensions for it.

yep it is the carb 2E, it is daily use, and atm dad is using it, it goes to alton towers everyday and he is racking up about a thousand miles a month but he will be done with it in 2 weeks so will have 46000 on it!!! the roads around alton are windy and very steep so he does have to rag it about abit, and once i pass my test it will be facing some track use!!!!

No worries pal just everyone seems to get caught out and go on the brand names! and lol i wish i could mate:P and gains its just a better oil generally, doesnt break down as quickly as semi, works better at temperature and has better chemical properties etc. Oh but to go fully you will need to go 5w40 oil

i have found some fully synthetic 5w40, TOTAL QUARTZ 9000!!! will it suit my car? im not sure cause its 5w40 not 10w40! sorry if its a stupid question but i just want an opinion is it better or is it a bad idea as its not the right viscosity for the engine????Product Information

all very very hot!!!! and not too dis-similar to my 70!!!! i think im gonna have to invest in an older model!!!!! i will get a some rwd action!!!

First of all dont bother with engine flush, if you want to flush it run some cheap oil through it for 10mins or so, then drop it out change the filter and put in good oil.Oil wise you dont want to be paying daft money for a fancy name, cheap carlube stuff or anything that passes most manufacturers specs. and spec wise volkswagen and porsche etc are the Highest, so if you can get an oil for say $£20 that passes these tests you dont need any better.

And just to add to that i get the highest rated fully synthetic oil we put in bentley continental GTs and AMG mercedes for a pound a liter. work that one out!

yeah im not gonna bother with the hks filter!!!! where on my filter could i find what fittement it is so i can order a replacement???? (the current filter is a fram filter if it helps!!!!)

i am torn between castol gtx and castrol magnatec at the moment!!! but there are so many like elf competition, shell helix, rock oil guardian and the list goes on!!!!!

i will be using an engine flush before the change!!!
