  3. hi again being quite new to the starlet scene i don't know much about part availibility other than the small amount of stuff on ebay for the ep70. i am only looking for a few very small touches for personalisation as i want my car standard; stuff like clear repeater lenses, etc. i can't commit to any purchases at the moment, i just want to know what is avalible for the 70 series. thanks a million james
  4. they really do, i had seen HID kits foor my car on ebay at about £60 and being only 16 can't afford to spend that much on a little thing like that. i only tested these bulbs for the first time 20 mins ago, i could have made my lights brighter still but at 99p per bulb i can not moan. true value for money
  5. hi all went into my local branch of '99p stores' and in the car cleaning/diy section found myself a little bargain some blue xenon/ HID effect bulbs that fit the starlet (size H4) after fitting i thought that there must be a catch, but no they both worked and although they were not as blue as i had hoped, they are brighter than my old bulbs as they seem to produce a much less yellow light, as most older cars without modern tech do. just wanted to share my joy (simple things amuse simple minds!!!!)
  6. hi all some more pictures to come over the course of the weekend, passanger side has now been sprayed and laquered. i have also installed some HID effect bulbs (bargains) so close to completion now, all it needs is the detailing and elbow grease. any sugestions on how to gently personalise the car, without spending mega bucks or modifying it??? james

  13. was totally unable to get a perfect colour match, despite ringing toyota manufacturing, numerous body shops and browsing the web for days on end. the pic was taken on my dads phone and really shows up the difference, but its unnoticable in daylight shall not be sraying the bonnet, just coating it in colour restorer and wax, it will blend perfectly once i have used some colour restorer and re laquered it, will spray it if i have spare paint though
  14. more updates to come over the next week it should be finnished in a month

  16. thanks for the comment mate, i had noticed a differance in the boot lid too but i know 150% that the car is not imported i have got recipts from when the car was repaired previously, will check it out (does not detract from the look of the car in my opinion)

  18. another little update for my starlet driving friends!!!!! the drivers side of the car had been keyed quite bad (probably some jelous git) and touched up even worse (previous owner not me), not only that there were tiny bits of rust appearing around bad repairs (nothing major though, still quite a good condition car) on saturday i set about spraying the whole drivers side of the car with my dad we sprayed the whole rear quarter panel, door and wing after a good amount of filling and shaping. laqured too! no photos yet as rain on sunday ruined my plans of some pictures and spraying the other s
