hahaha, it seemed like an old man sort of car when i saw the crappy dealer photos of it (its an ex demo), but when it came down my street for him to show me i was gobsmacked!!!! it is a very very nice motor thats wasted on my grandad, he bought it as a run about he did not know it had alloys or an ipod connector till a week or two ago!!!!! in about 5-6 years time it will be 6.5 years old with no more than 35thou on it and he'll probably want to give up driving and either me or my mum will be given it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

just noticed this...... very nice motor...... my grandad has the 1.33 tr with 101bhp!!!!!!!!!! i personally like the 2.2 diesels but those problems are off putting!!!!

i do agree that heat wrap will look better but i will post a link to the paint that i have used on my mani!!!! http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165495 it says 500 degrees but it says it is suited to use on exhaust manifolds..... dad bought it as he is rebuilding an old yamaha 2 stroke and wanted to spray the engine there was enough left to do my mani..... if the paint comes off due to heat it will be going backas a wrongly described product!!!!

i recomend the silver high temprature paint from halfords, it is a sort of matted metallic an has a real sparkle to it in some lights, it is ideal for the manifolds as it looks nice neat and standard while being quite attractive..... best of all its cheap!!!!!! i will get a link or name for it if you want!

i am a newbie in comparison with you other guys and i dont want to get involved in any trouble or be seen in a bad light but.... i just joined this thread from the bitchy thread (changed signature)...... i agree with whiteglanzav, faisal use all this energy to learn to weld and then you can repair the manifolds that you buy without warranty. and yes two can play games, and sometimes seeing threads with the typical 'your mum/ sister/ nan' comment can be funny...... but as phil rightly said you both need to stop this playground nonsence now and recieve an E-slap. happy starlet club please????

yes i think you are right i was led to belive that if you have a fully comp policy (regardless of the provider), any other car you drive will be covered third party on your policy. be aware the other car has to be insured too but not by yourself. hope i explained that in a fathomable way!!!!!!
