Ye he's for real. He's basically been done for drink driving and has had his car impounded. He paid £100 for it and the impound fee is already at approx' £170. He doesn't want to let it go so is offering this! So so stupid.

Picturless update! So the mint looking bonnet I bought in white is far from what it looked like in the picture I was sent. Opened a dispute through paypal so we'll see what happens. My advice: don't ever buy anything of the Fb site. Lesson learned. I'm pretty pissed off that I'm now £70 worse off. I also sold my rear silver glanza bootlid and 98 spec bumper to fund more car parts. Priorities now are: Indicators (whole units) Replace passenger wing in 040 engine flush service including all fluids replaced. Then whatevery is required for mot. There's not a lot I can do out here in the Arctic. So I'm going to just accumulate service parts for now. I'm going to need to get an exhaust that isn't decat for mot unless I can find a decat friendly one nearby. So I might be on the lookout for a full exhaust system. I've already missed out on 2 on ebay.

The seller has informed me that £70 is a fair price for this as he paid fees and posted, and to open a dispute. So I've opened a dispute.

I sent £70 and he paid the fees. I've messaged him saying that I'd settle for at least a 60% refund or full refund. And that if I heard nothing back from him then I would open a dispute. I'm not going to name him until he's had a chance to resolve it. If no reply then I'll name him. I hate having to do this. I just give people the benifit of the doubt.

I might try messaging him 1 more time and see if he replies. I'll mention I'll open a dispute if there's no response. I'm a reasonable guy and I'm pretty laid back but I thought this was a proper shit thing to do. I could never mislead somebody into thinking they're buying a decent part and then send them shit. Why would someboft be like that.

That's a sheared bolt I vented my frustration to the seller as you can imagine and explained that the only reason I wanted a white bonnet was so that I didn't have to spray my silver one. There has been no reply since. Also just before this bonnet arrived to me he wanted to buy my good condition bonnet and bootlid for £100 as he'd just bought a silver glanza. What are your guys veiws on this? I'm no body work expert but the bonnet needs a lot of work. And a respray to say the least. Is it worth repairing? Do I open a dispute and send it back to him?

Ok so, well for starters I shouldn't have bought this bonnet from anywhere but here so it's my own fault. I bought a bonnet off a guy (not the through the forum) the picture he sent me was of the bonnet looking mint! Yes I should have asked for many detailed pictures but the seemed genuine. So I jumped at it for £70 posted. Upon receiving it, it looked nothing like what I was expecting. He didn't say it was damaged in any way at any point during negotiations of the sale. He didn't say it was mint but didn't day it was damaged either. I'm not sure I have grounds for opening a dispute or not? What do you guys think. I'll post pictures of it below of what he sent me. And then I'll post pictures of what I received. That's what he sent me. Looks like a fresh respray!
