  1. i dont drive mine yet pal so dont know. should be around 10-15mins to get up to norm running temp on average id say.
  2. depending on what type of thermostat it has in... the bottom hose might not get very hot if its running a cool running thermostat, im not up to scratch on starlets so dont know what temp they open at but every car is different. should be at least luke warm though unless you have an immense cryo charge cooled million row rad ;)
  3. _your bottom hose should be getting warm-hot though... once the engine gets up to temp the thermostat opens alowing the coolant to circulate through the cooling side. bottom hose is the last hose to get hot but it should get hot otherwise you could have a circulation problem (waterpump, thermostat?) but with the temp gauge being norm i would say not. and prob will take the biscuit for your fan to kick in because of the cold weather. _steam coming from the rad... could be water off the road like metioned above but if it persists could be a small pin hole from a rotton row in the rad core or po

  7. hi pal i recognise your car think i went to a jap meet in a convoy to the trafford center. i was in the gt with arrows on the side and green wheels.

  9. well im a bit of a power whore so wanted to start with a blank canvas so i feel its my own car (built not bought) no big spec on it now... baileys dump valve unknown coilovers with fully adjustable top mounts, prev owners says there f*****d but yet to find what wrong with them. and hks turbo timer. ive had my eye out for one for about a year and wanted a white mk 1 only and this came up reasonably priced so put in an offer and got it future plans still foggy as ive a lot to learn about starlets as its all new but from what i think so far... re-spray top of the list. intercooler asap teampte
  10. hiya jus thought id put up a post to get my name on the board and introduce myself. im from noth wales wrexham and proud owner of my new 92 mk1 starlet gt (which need alot of attention ha) ive a lot to learn about turbo cars as ive recently moved from novas and 106 rallye's and the next challenge for me is jap so will prob be pesteing with questions hopefully get to know most soon cheers
