  1. as title says, after a starlet remix front bumper, i know these are rare and would really love one. cash waiting cheers, Pinske
  2. hi looking to get a decat for my starlet, the only ones on ebay are these: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Starlet-EP82-EP91-Exhaust-DECAT-CAT-/310238666114?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item483baa5d82#ht_917wt_1162 I'm assuming their for the 4efte? but wondering if anyone has bought one for their N/A or can tell by looking at the picture if it will fit an N/A cheers, Pinske.
  3. nah, dont wanna go down the turbo route. planning a 2ZZ GE conversion towards the end of next year
  4. Hi, just seen this thread. I'm based in carlisle, will be insured start of september so would be nice to get a meet together and @Bean ill be at straightliners at the end of september. I'll be in a silver N/A so keep an eye out mate cheers, Pinske.
  5. decided im going to do it. gonna roll the arches and run stretched 195/45/15W as they wont be stretched too much and it will look amazing. may have to fanny about spacing them out or messing with the arches but it'll be well worth it
  6. ahh shit, they would have looked unreal aswell :/ what offset do you reckon ill need for 8 inch wide rims then? I dont suppose rolling the arches would help much either? i really wanna run wide wheels. thanks for the help by the way
  7. Hi, just got an e-mail off the supplier and they are et20. ive seen a few posts saying you need an offset of between +35 - +40 for 8 inch wide wheels on a starlet? but im not sure
  8. Hi all Basically managed to finally afford the insurance on my little Starlet beast and I'm after wheels as i have a fair amount of spare cash. got my eye on some 15x8.25 alloys, its going to be lowered 40mm on springs and i dont want stretched tyres. can anyone who has similar sized wheels on their starlet tell me if they will scrub? and what the handling is like with wheels that wide? I dont really care about stancing it out and getting the arch close to the tyre. I just want it to be wide and handle like a go kart. cheers, Pinske
  9. @ryan lang: cheers man, ill have a look about now at prices etc. also just had a look through your build thread and your starlet is sick! hopefully i'll have an EP that nice one day
  10. @Enzo, sounds good but im gonna stick with the 4efe. I can fit a 5E easy enough myself (qualified mechanic) although i havent really worked on a car in atleast a year haha. ideally looking for the 100hp mark which is plenty then do something mad next year when ive got the cash and spare time. the mani i bought was off a ae111 corolla levin, ive read around and this seems to be the best one to get. ill get it all fitted and might do a cheeky build thread cheers
  11. thanks for all the help guys, yeah i was looking at enzo's ep82. thats where i got the idea from as ive driven mine already and it was nippy but lacked in high RPM. ill stick the manifold on and a larger throttle body as they seem to be cheap enough and then just go from there i think
  12. Hi all Last year my dad bought me a 1996 ep91 N/A, immaculate with 50k on the clock and FSH. As of yet I still cant afford to insure it so he's running it until I can get a job. anyway, I really want to get some more power out of the standard 4EFE engine and have a general idea of the mods i want to do: - corolla manifold - corolla throttle body - corolla ecu - K&N panel filter - iridium spark plugs - decat and a generic universal back box after much searching i found a corolla mani at a bargain price, the same as this one: do i need to change injectors? anything that im missing or is
  13. Hello, I'm new and looking to get a bit more power out of my N/A and make it look a bit better. The plan is to lower it 40mm, some 20mm wheel spacers for a bit more stance, and a remix front bumper. So I'm looking for: Starlet remix front bumper with lights - preferably silver but any colours fine. Glanza S ECU - from the 99 bhp model Corolla manifold And an SR backbox. As I said I'm looking for it all on the cheap, so if you're selling any of the items e-mail me at: samuel.pinske@btinternet.com
  14. Just out of curiosity, how hard is it to find 3dr EP95s? and whats sort of price to get a low mileage one imported and ready to drive? I'm new to the site and ive got myself an EP91 as my first car but want a 4WD next cheers pinske
  15. hi, im pretty new to this site, ive just got myself my first car which is an immaculate '96 starlet CD, it has the standard CD player. i know nothing about it, apart from that its a sony one. anyone know the model name/number as i need to find out whether it has an AUX in socket on the back of the head unit without taking it out. cheers sam pinske
  16. what induction kit are you using? because it looks like a blitz SUS but i can only find them for starlet turbos not the normally aspirated engines.
