Hi, wanting to swap my parcel shelf with speakers into my Sportif. Is the plug to wire them in hidden behind the rear drivers side quarter panel? or will it need fully wired in instead? Sam.

Hi all, as most of you know I had my first EP written off the other week :'( So after a couple of weeks searching I spotted this PINK 1997 sportif down in Warrington with 66k on the clock, new cam belt, radiator and full service and being sold by a senior technician at Toyota. 1 owner from new and £580! BARGAIN. So popped down yesterday night and drove it 200 miles back! It was pitch black, gail force winds and raining on skinny ass tyres so was sketchy to say the least but I'm happy with it the underside is immaculate the only bit thats really annoying me is this rust next to the back window as its stood for a long time (its only done 6k in the last 4 YEARS!) anyone know the best way to sort it? Plans are to go turbo and have a mad pink sleeper, until then ive got a fair few bits to go on and stuff to do to be ready for Japfest parts ive got: - 14" BBS RJs with conti tyres (temp wheels) - Seat Leon Cupra R splitter - D1 spec wheel nuts - Corolla Mani - K&N Panel filter - Bosch super 4 spark plugs - Full straight through exhaust from mani back - Brembo brake pads - New headunit - OEM toyota mats - Parcel shelf with speaker - dials from my old CD - OEM mudflaps - clear indicator lenses - Import plates oh, and coilovers are getting bought TODAY hopefully!! then gotta de-bumpstrip it, stone chip and waxoil the under neath and then sort out a few bits and bobs on the paint work. Updates shall follow VERY soon Sam.

Dont worry, not doing any dodgy 'clocking'. Just wondering how to go about changing the odometer to read the correct mileage of the car when swapping dials with a rev counter into it. Sam.

in the same boat man, shall have no money once another EP is bought spotted one not too far from me though, sportif so same as yours. luckily i have the CD for spares so hopefully wont be too different anything specific your after mate? you can have bits off my old one for cheap because its going to the scrapper anyway. no, that blue is good. the one i saw was lighter and made me want to vomit. not sure what colour code it is, this ones darker though. been to see a few of these nice colour

Now Ive been desperately looking around for a new EP before Japfest and seen a fair few heaps of scrap along the way, but all the nicer ones seem to be in the 'obscure' colours. I've seen some vile baby blue ones, and dogs anus maroon/brown ones and also PINK ones. And i dont know why but as soon as I saw one I fell in love with it. So what are peoples opinions on pink? would be epic to make into a turbo sleeper slammed on some half decent wheels, or will people assume I'm packing fudge? Sam.
