  1. Antilag is shet, if you want some real flames, do what i did to get a real flames, in which i cant disclose. I could produce the above pic even when driving. Would make all those ricers beg for mercy. Already did.
  2. Anybody know what this is, I certainly wouldn't want that taking a bite of my ass. More pics here:
  3. if its knocking on cold startup, that will tell you its got forged pistons.
  4. from a parts shop or from toyota. The camshaft seal is the same as the front crank seal. 4efe/4efte.
  5. a drill with wire wheel will get rid of everything. After all gasket material is gone, rub the block with fine sand paper.
  6. Oi jack, let me give you a reality check. When i was around 8yo i started pulling 2 stroke engines and car engines apart for fun and play, i used to read workshop manuals, i used to pull anything car related or engine related apart. This is where you normally start learning. This is were i started learning about cars and engines. I sure as hell didnt take a bugatti veyron apart at the age of 8. See the thing is, your at a age where your at my starting age of playing with engines. Its like me at 8 years old taking a evo 4g63 apart. You get it, your abit late dude. what were you doing all
  7. i can see a disaster so far and will only get worse. The starlet GT is definatly not a car for a novice like yourself to play around with. You may think its funny, but afterall, its you that will end up paying $$$$ to fix any stuff ups. Going by what is already in this thread, you should stop completely and give it to someone that knows what their doing.
  8. dont worry about drilling/tapping etc, if your that desperate, get a oil filter relocation kit, that will solve the issue. I considered a engine replacement with a 4e and i done my homework. The quickest way is to get a relocation kit and its done.
  9. Possibly no one here knows but i will give it a try. 1. Caldina ST215 with tiptronic automatic transmission AIM: Manual conversion Question: Whilst using the standard ecu, can it operate without it getting signals from the transmission. Is the automatic transmission control box connected to the ecu in any way. Are they completely seperate, or does the ecu pickup car speed and adjust the ecu parameters accordingly. Since the automatic transmission in the caldina is somewhat electronically sophisticated, i was wondering if a manual conversion would allow the ecu to operate as normal, you k
  10. There is a problem with new headbolts and its a major issue, what is it, i wont say, because untill i get my thread unlocked about my project car, your going into unkown costly territory with new head bolts. You can reuse the old bolts, pending you dont strip the inside splines.
  11. That turbo looks crazily powerfull now. I bet thats a T04 compressor.
  12. I removed my starlet gt head 4 times in a month. i can do it eyes closed. Doing it is no different to any other car.
  13. I'm afraid that is abit incorrect. Starting from the timing belt side: Intake caps: I2, I3, I4,I5 Exaust caps: E2,E3,E4,E5 There is no 1. Make sure the arrows are facing towards the timing belt.
  14. just buy my TD04L conversion package and you will be set for life.
