Yeah. I saw the measurements on Google but was hoping somebody might be near their car with a tape
I can go down my unit tomorrow and get measurements
-
Does anyone have the measurements of an EP82 front bumper to rear and wing mirror to wing mirror?

plumb the screamer back into the decat

Crank no fire could be a couple of causes,
do you have spark?
do you have fuel?

If i remember right, they are a bit longer.
so with ep91 shocks the back will sit quite high.

Agreed.
I should have said above, I don't actually drive my starlet daily, I have a old vag tdi barj. So The GT is just a weekend toy.
Fair points about running costs road tax etc on the starlets.
If it's a weekend toy. I wouldn't even consider it. The idea is that hot hatches should excite you and turn heads. Modern hot hatches for me are just a bit bleh
PS. I have a m135 daily but would hate for that to be my only car

Can't confirm as on my mobile at the moment. But think PM boxes are disabled for users with less than X (maybe 50) posts. As a while ago we had bots signing up and PMing users

You can buy the ecu connectors from TE if that’s all you need. They are only a few ££ each.
I really want to sit and make a connector Megathread for people wanting to build looms

Running stock calipers yes. Might have plans to upgrade for the future, but that won't be soon.
I'm going to be running 195/50/15 tires.
What do you mean by archwork? Just roll the inside lip, or actually widen the entire arches? I'm not afraid to roll the guards but anything beyond that or plastic fender flares is a bit much for some wide wheels.
Ive got wider wings up front, never tried with stock so cant comment
back i am running 3 degrees of camber and have the inner lip rolled flat and sealed with seam sealer.
EP82 has an advantage that you have a slightly narrower rear beam so you do have a bit more room in the rear aches
-
Im running 15x8 et20 currently. with a 5mm spacer on the front
Its wide. Arch work will definitely be needed, also depends what tyre you want to run. if you want to run a 205, then it'll be tight.
That is with rear and front camber and +25mm front wings with 195/50 AD08Rs
Assume you are running stock calipers?

I have a set of GT front calipers here dm me if your interested
To put GT breaks on an ep80 you need the whole hub.
You will also need to adjust the tracking as the front track is wider on a GT

Auto TPS wiring diagram is easily available online. Like said above stock one doesn’t use a 5v Ref so you need to splice into the ‘VCC’ pin. Easiest to do it near the map sensor
Just remeber, you do also need a ECU that can support a true variable TPS

Love this Mk1 GT...
Is it tucked away in the Garage or what's happening too it..
Its mostly been tucked up in the garage, although as Nick said I bought a new house so have been busy with that
however, there are a few updates for the GT
I opened up my set of Mk2 lights
With the help of one of my friends we shaped Ally backing insets to mould the back of the lights to a flat shape
Then i got my fiddly solder on
and we end up with something like this:
I want to get some diffusion pannels to get rid of the LED dotted look and merge the colours together to make them more fluid, although i havent touched the lights in around 6 months.
Also, my new wheels turned up:
Custom speced work SP1's.
Test fit went well
Also the EP3 went and a I bought a new "sensible" daily

Seeing as other people are updating build threads. I thought id get involved. Although its not much
Moved the starlet to the Garage at my house:
It got a clean:
Then I went wheel-y crazy, get it
Bought a set of Oz Turbos
I also got tyres put on the Works and got those fitted:
and then this is how she sits at the moment
