  1. insurance fraud is not a good deal either. I hate it for you man, I really do, I don't know what I would do if my Starbo got stolen. but like everyone has said, Strip it and take everything you can, while keeping it drivable, then if they come take it, fight for it and try to keep it, otherwise, let it go and try to get some money back for a new GT. I wouldnt go about having the car "stolen", because, then you can get yourself in real trouble if you get caught. I also dont think I could chop a GT up or put an axe through it's roof, or light it on fire, it would make me cry. but good luck man, I really hope it works out for you.

  2. and double post, but yes it's just new york, all the big cities are uber expensive. Everyone else looks at the rest of the world as expensive, lol. Come to my neck of the woods sometime and you will get to see the other end of the spectrum. Its amazing out here.

  3. PICS****Trying to decide on whether or not to get my wheels powdercoated. If I do, it will be like in the following picture or completely inverse so the inside would be white with the hoop and bolts in black. Oppinions are greatly appreciated, as with other colors if you want to photoshop or just a cheap paint job like I did on here. the car is going to stay white, so it has to match, or set it off well.

  4. well so far it has been to the Toys for Tots meet, a run to Mount Vernon, multiple little meets and drives around Washington and California, at the toys for tots meet, there were almost 1000 cars including 2 r35 gtr's, a lamborghini countach, a murcialago, 2 ferarri f430's and multiple r32, 33, and 34 skylines, and the EP82 didnt have a minute where there were not at least 5 people staring, taking pictures, asking questions and wondering what it was. At the other meets, they are ALOT smaller, but everyone loves the car. Nobody looks at it as an econobox, they did when I had the gt2835R in my paseo, but not once in my Starlet. It's amazing.

  5. A little update. I got the 5efte in and running and then missed a shift from 3-4th and instead went from 3-2 at around 85mph which put the engine at 9700rpm. It instantly spun at least 2 bearings and I pulled over and they had welded themselves to the crankshaft and punched a hole in the block under the #1 cylinder where the rod came in contact with the block. So I started cleaning my spare block which should have been another 5efe as it came out of a 92 paseo, but it was instead a 5efhe with the high compression pistons, thick rods, and the 5e stamped crankshaft(5efe's are stamped 3e). So I got that engine in and running very well. better than the 5efte. Also will be going on Saturday to have the new custom 2.5" aluminum intercooler piping and TIAL 50mm BOV made and installed and will be picking up my custom 4 row half size aluminum radiator from Facetuned in Tacoma, WA. well here's some pics of the starlet on New Years Eve overlooking Seattle, WA. No TOM's front bumper right now as it is being repaired.100_2488.jpg

  6. I just spent the last 2-3 hours reading through all of your updates, and all I can say is WOW. I never realized that there could be so much work that could go it no one. I think that is an amazing project and can only imagine the time and money spent on this. has to be way more than I have put in to my ep. I cant wait to see the final project. I'll be watching this.

  7. it was imported about 6 years ago, before I got it. All I can say is it has bypassed the regulations.......... There's a build thread on here, so im not going to clog up bandwidth with multiples of the same post so check it out. And Thanks for the kind words.
